Thanks everyone for your support, it means alot. This eve i deliberately planned to invite my friend round which would give me a reason for having a drink, but she couldnt make it....decided to go to Zumba instead and now sitting having a cup of tea and choccie bar

    Morning :hello:

I went for a drink after work with my work friends so I wasn't AF yesterday.

Here is another incentive to limit drinking.:o

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Hello friends-to-be.

My name is Will, I'm 25, and I drink more alcohol than I should really even poke a stick at.

Fairly new to this and having read-through, I'm still confused! So if there's a "beginners guide" I'd love to read it!

I'd aim for 7 days this month alcohol free.

Does anyone have any suggestions, due to the way the public transport works, I'm left at the railway station up to 40 minutes before my train. It normally means I buy a couple of cans, or go to the local and so on. It's really effecting my bank balance, especially at station prices we're talking the best part of £5 a day for pretty much nothing!

    Hi Will and images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTJFV5EEPNf8H25athTwo9qzpaFDahDxX-Q1GD3qUSm9DJ0fK7CRQ&t=1 .

I will put you on the list as having pledged 7 AFDs (alcohol free days) for April. That's all there is to it!

How about taking a book and drinking coffee/ hot chocolate/ soft drink?

    Morning all and Happy Friday!

Had half a bottle of wine last night, very sluggish today as a result :o

Hello Will you've joined a lovely group. How about packing a soft drink and only taking the exact amount of money that you need for the day (leave your card at home)?

    Have a good day folks!
