    Good morning all

    6 please Shaggy!

1 on the challenge please Bearacus!

Maman - yes, I think I should be able to manage going it alone (hopefully!) Feeling very determined. Weighed this morning and another half pound gone :)

Mackeroo - I think with anything we do there comes a point when you get to the demotivated stage. Hope you get through it - you've been doing so fantastically well!

MrsRainman - what brought that on with your OH!?:T Do you think he'll be the same tonight?

    Miss P
    xx

He was feeling poorly. All his own fault so I had no sympathy. I mean, who uses 2 bottles of white to try to settle their dodgy stomach??

Anyway, it didn't last. But he "only" had 5 bottles of Bud last night, which is almost as good as a AFD for him. And he did leave 1 bottle in the fridge. I was going to mention the "never drinking again" comment, but thought better of it

Well done to everyone who's sticking with it during this nice weather. Yesterday afternoon I was sitting at my desk and all I could think about was a fruit cider............

Nearly the end of the week!!!!! :j

  • Good morning. 7 AFDs for me, including today. I had a scan last night (went through quite a lot to get one, I won't bore anyone with the details) and I'm about 5 weeks pregnant. Thank God for last month's AF challenge, otherwise I could have quite feasibly have had alcohol every day last month.

I've been on a course for a couple of days and staying in a hotel so just 2 afds for me so far but on the positive side I haven't drunk excessively at all-half a glass of champagne on Friday, bottle of wine on Saturday (that was excessive) nothing on Sunday or Monday and a glass on Tuesday and Wednesday. Not afd tonight as me and dh are sharing a bottle of red. I think that next week I will have to try harder.

    Hello friends-to-be.

My name is Will, I'm 25, and I drink more alcohol than I should really even poke a stick at.

Fairly new to this and having read-through, I'm still confused! So if there's a "beginners guide" I'd love to read it!

I'd aim for 7 days this month alcohol free.

Does anyone have any suggestions, due to the way the public transport works, I'm left at the railway station up to 40 minutes before my train. It normally means I buy a couple of cans, or go to the local and so on. It's really effecting my bank balance, especially at station prices we're talking the best part of £5 a day for pretty much nothing!
