Like others I'm motivated by money and calories:o The health benefits are a bonus and I quite like that smug feeling with knowing that I have will power and have acheived something!:D0 -
Oh forgot to say, candygirl.
If you post your acheivements then Shaggy and Bearacus will update the lists. Most of us update daily if poss and in bold and colour helps!0 -

Hello my darlings
I'm not staying but I just waned to let you all know that my life is in a really good way. You guys were stars helping me with my bad times & I will always be grateful.
I do hope you're all ok. Just cos I'm not here any more doesn't mean I don't think of you all, cos I do.

Day 5 AF here, just waiting on my friend for lunch and surrounded by eateries with drinks promotions. Seriously testing my resolve but thinking a nice dessert will compensate!"I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and... I believe in miracles."

Hi, introducing myself and hope you don't mind me joining in. Have realised for a while now have been drinking far, far too much wine and really want to cut down and maybe even stop for a while. I'm almost 50 now, and only really started drinking like this in the last few years - a combination of less family responsibilities (kids grown so didn't need to drive them round etc), probably boredom and a bit of stress thrown in. But when I realised that a bottle of wine was becoming the norm rather than a treat - decided to take action. I have put on loads of weight, and my diet is generally OK so it is the wine. Have decided to cut down gradually over the next 2 weeks or so. I've been told that's best. So will keep drink diary and hopefully will soon be joining you in AF days. Won't admit all of this to anyone else, I'll just say I'm dieting which will explain me keeping a note of everything. Wish me luck, and I wish you all well0
