Mrs R-I hope you are ok. When you say anger management with mr R I hope that this is not directed at you. If his behaviour is becoming increasingly volatile go and stay at a family member's house for a few nights.
He wouldn't dare aim it at me. Plus I'm sensible enough to stay out of the way until it all dies down. It's mostly shouting, or things get broken , or he's kicking stuff (mostly cupboards, walls, sofas) which leads to him hurting himself. Which means i then have to appear like Florence Nightingale and patch him up!! :A

Take care Mrs R - you really should be looking after yourself and Bean not some adult male who can't look after himself! It can't be doing you any good with the stress.
Welcome too Candygirl.0 -
I finished June on 18 days AF and completed last weeks SNC. I also had a major alcohol incident this weekend resulting in a very sore ankle (and no I can't remember what happened
) But I'm not going to dwell on it....it's done now.
Can I have a target of 18 for July please Shaggy, with 1 completed. And can I go for the full SNC again this week please too Bearacus, with 1 completed also.
Hugs to those that need them, and welcome to the newbies xLBM Dec 10. Total unsecured debt £41176  Nov 12 Debt Free Thanks Mum x RIP x

Thank you everyone for such a warm welcome xxxxyoemma -Welcome to the thread and good luck with your AFness xx
Trasijocha- well done on your 7 months Afness:T
Shaggy- Well done on your 4 weeks :T
Sorry I havent been onSaturday was just a major alcohol disaster
and Ive been trying to make right all the Sh*t I said since then.
A combination of sun, far too much wine and being emotional led to me being an absolute doorknobto both my brother and friends !!
So Sunday was spent apologising, crying , and trying to actually remember all the events of saturday(whilst having hangover paranoia).
I have been Af since then so thats 2 please shaggy and Im going to go TF for July thankyou x
I am also running the SNC as off today (but I will include Monday night results) so any takers please let me know and I will add you x
Gosh, I can completely understand this. This was my weekend to top off a hangover, you've got the guilt and sketchy memories of the night before. I hope you're okay. xxx
I'd love to join the July challenge, so far I'm 4 days AF although would love to get to the end of July but think I'd better walk before I can run and take things a day at a time!!
Would also love to join the SNC too? xxxx"I believe in manicures. I believe in overdressing. I believe in primping at leisure and wearing lipstick. I believe in pink. I believe happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and... I believe in miracles."

If he does he hasn't said anything since. I won't go in to all the gory details, but it's fair to say if what happened doesn't give him a massive wake up call then I don't know what will!
Worried about you Mrs R. Back in March you said "Just need him to stop before Little Bean arrives (which he keeps saying he will!!) My latest thing has been to say that if I need to be taken to the hospital in an emergency and he isn't fit to drive then I'll go on my own. I know that sounds harsh but I'm just trying to get through to him"
Do you have a contingency plan if he doesn't stop in the next 2 weeks? Not sure that he should be around a new baby in that kind of state. Sorry if not my place to comment, just worried.
Take care.

3 AF for July thanks Shaggy...nothing to see here...0 -
Thanks All for your concern. Love you Guys!!
Kdenty - It's wierd. I used to get really stressed about his drinking. But just recently I've become immune to it. I just let things run it's course and dela with the fall out at the end. I don't get stressed, upset, or shout. When I saw my midwife last week she commented on how good (and stable) my blood pressure is, even with the funeral, etc. She thinks I'm Superwoman!!
HS - Yes, I do have a contingency plan in place, just in case. My Sister is 2 minutes away, and my parents aren't far.
MrR did tell his family yesterday that he was no longer drinking in the week, and when he does have something it will just be a couple of bottles of Bud, and not the wine. So I guess that's progress.
As for when Little Bean arrives, I have made it very, very clear. No alcohol in the house. And if he chooses to have a drink, even 1, I will be keeping him away from baby until it's out of his system.
I can be pretty scary when I want to be
Rachelww - As you can't remember we'll just pretend you hurt your ankle trying to walk on cobbles while wearing high heels

I think you're doing amazingly well Mrs R. I'm really sad about what you're having to cope with but it does serve as a sobering (literally) reminder to the rest of us.
I'm up for 4 on the SNC please Bearacus. I just had a diet tonic and plenty of water with my lunch and very nice it was too (will be describing it on the SW thread later:o).
Have good evening all.0 -
