Good Lord... what a sad place this world is now. My mother was an infant teacher for 40 years, she began her teaching career during the war. She taught what were called 'Rising Five's', who were the little ones, just coming in to school for the first time - very few nurseries then. If a child was sad, or fell over she would pick them up, dust them down and give them a cuddle until the tears stopped.

Had she done that now she would have been vilified, arrested and charged with child abuse.

Dont be silly , teachers do this every day and nobody accuses them of child abuse!

There's a difference between watching someone in a public place and peering through a window into someones private living area to watch them. The more you speak the more I think its you we should be worried about not the bloke with the CCTV.

No peeping required it is a massive camera on his windowsill pointing direct outside

My word those swings must be very close to his house if they are only 3 feet away.

I thought it was an upstairs window?
Are the swings very high then?

People never read whole thread which is very annoying! Its his living room window!

As I said it backs direct onto park as if the park was his back garden. there is nothing of his around the back to get damaged other than the plain back wall of his house which in 5 years Ive never seen any graffiti, damage etc on

Notice who you are? Someone which way too much time on their hands who is slightly obsessive

Also most of those posts are ancient, 2008! I notice you only linked to their vent threads which is a small fraction of the ops postcount!

this thread is hilarious, thanks everyone!

Seriously though, on here there are lots of us parents who seem to be sensible & rational. Also, conversely...

Sounds to me like the two posters who are concerned with the camera seem to know too much about this house.

"bars on the windows for 13 years"

"old man and woman live there"

"if a burglar wanted to break in then they'd go round the side door where there is no cctv"

SHOULD THE OLD COUPLE BE WORRIED ABOUT YOU TWO?????
