Filming kids in park

Does the op take her kids to the swimming baths dressed in wetsuits to stop people looking at them? I take it they are clothed when in the park so even if a pae do was watching them, what could he/she see?

May have been there longer but its how long Ive been visiting the park and its hard not to spot metal cages around windows!

I know its an old couple as theyre outside every morning when i take dd to school

the more you say about this house/couple the more confused I am about why you and the OP are worried.

An elderly couple, metal cages on downstairs windows, camera behind those cages. Another camera at the front of the house

Sorry but that just screams that the cameras are there purely for security reasons.

Maybe a little OTT but nothing at all to worry about child wise.

People are mad. I was on holiday in Australia last year and I took a photograph of an awesome looking playground all made of trees and stuff and the mother of one of the kids playing there death stared me right until I left the park. I can't bloody stand paranoid parents.

OMG! Cant believe how small-minded some people are. There are genuine !!!!!philes in this world and I do believe they should all be castrated.. But people just cant go around willy nilly assuming that if someone who has a camera on their property is doing it for perverted reasons. I have a fake plastic camera on the outside of my property (only a £1 from poundland btw money savers) I am now in two minds whether I should take it down.

I had graffiti sprayed on my back garage and also there has been two attempts to bust the garage doors over recent years. But beyond the lane at the rear of my garden there is a public common, don’t want some crazed warped shallow minded person walking their dogs and children assuming that I am filming them!!

I sure do hope these OTT freaked out peeps complaining about the couple with a camera don’t upload any pics or vids of their children to any social sites i.e Facebook… … don’t want them accusing all the other people who look at them of being purves!!

I know this may seem really controversial but how does filming children harm them?

People are acting as though this fella is chasing the kids round the park! Its only a bit of film and the innocent reasons for filming far outweigh the sinister ones.

God, people are panicky! Just keep an eye on your kids, and if you're that bothered, then go to another park!
