It's 'pædophile'.
Fortunately the literacy of the censor does not extend that far.
(Pedophile sound like someone who likes walking.)There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
In which legislation is that right enshrined?
CCTV code of conduct under the Data protection act 1998
Individuals whose images are recorded have a right to view the images of themselves and,
unless they agree otherwise, to be provided with a copy of the images. This must be provided
within 40 calendar days of receiving a request. You may charge a fee of up to £10 (this is thecurrent statutory maximum set by Parliament). Those who request access must provide you
with details which allow you to identify them as the subject of the images and also to locate the
images on your system

Why are people saying it at all? The persons involved have not shown any intention towards acting this way?0 -

Generally, the DPA does not apply to individuals:
http://www.ico.gov.uk/Global/faqs/data_protection_for_the_public.aspx#f89CC45B4-580B-4FCD-98A2-278DE2D7446C[T]he use of CCTV cameras for domestic security purposes is exempt from the data protection principles. ... If [someone] is using CCTV for business purposes they will need to comply with the Act.
I would say this is not a business purpose, and falls under domestic use.If you think of it as 'us' verses 'them', then it's probably your side that are the villains.0
