the house had metal cages covering the low windows which i imagine is to stop footballs etc getting kicked at the glass.0 -

you would harrass some guy because he put a camera up to catch vandals?
you really do come across as pure "trailer trash".0 -

I thought it was an upstairs window but am more than happy to be corrected.
Now... are the swings three feet or three metres away?0 -
been reading most of this and a few things have kept going thought my head. one is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlEcGHxfltE&feature=related
which i think highlights the hysterical over-reaction of some on this thread and across society. it's also very funny.
Second is, there is an american comedian called doug stanhope who commented on fear in the news, and that how we, as people couldn't blame the news for being scared as we're buying into it. Because the thought that "someone is coming for YOUR child*" is far easier to accept than the truth, which is that statistically, nothing of any significance will ever happen to you in your life.
* - not quite how he puts it!
i would link to it but it has a lot of swearing in it - youtube it, it's awesome.
does seem to me as if OP and her ilk are trying to create drama.Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face - Mike Tyson0 -

i think your heart is in the right place and it's good that you're looking after your kids. but implying someone is a pedo because he has a camera is an overreaction. it just means people are going to be more hesitant helping kids they see in trouble0 -

Still don`t know what the problem is.

That would be an irony.
Taking a picture of someone on private land, taking a picture of the picture taker on public land, as you don't like him taking the picture in the first place. (Or even her, as no-one knows yet)0 -

i know it is a man as i see him most mornings in front garden when i drop my kids at school, i can not take a photo no as i will more than likely get abusive replies from some members on here. the problem is hes filming kids playing - according to council anywhere with cctv needs to have a notice up letting people know there are cameras present - before someone says that is not true i am onlyt stating what i have been told.Wins for 2011: ........................

Oh dear, I thinks words like Bu??er me spring to mind.
Approx 5% of children may experience one form of sexual abuse before 16. A good damn site more suffer maltreatment at the hands, possibly clipping them, in their own homes.
