;42298144]YES ITS IS INNOCENT BECAUSE THEY ARE FILMING A PUBLIC PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    YOU JUST DON`T GET IT.

Google street view the park you may see yourself on there.

HOW DO YOU KNOW ITS A MAN??
I agree its innocent as its a public place hes filming but as for what he does with the videos who knows? that how ever may not be innocent.

I am not going to feel bad for protecting my child, unfortunately the world is full of sick people so if i feel unhappy with something then i will question it. Its better to be safe than sorry. child molesters, murderers etc do not go around advertising themselfs so unless us 'drama llamas' question things and report things then they would all be walking free to do as they please.

As i have said i am not saying this man is doing anything wrong i am just expressing my concern as no one knows what this man could be doing, yes he could be filming to protect his property but until i know this for sure i am not going to assume this is all he could possibly be doing.

I see no point in continuing this here Zoe, perhaps if some parents were to read then some more sensible, sympathetic views would be heard.

actually I am a mom and I don't think its worth reporting to the council or police...

    .
but the thing is the world is NOT full of sick people.

The vast vast majority of people in this world are kind decent normal people, there are a minority who aren't that nice and an even smaller minority that are downright evil.

If you look at it that way then statistically the person with the cameras on the front and back of his house is much more likely to be one of the kind decent people than the nasty or evil ones and you have nothing to be worried about.

No one is saying you shouldn't have your childs welfare as your priority, but don't go round thinking that the world is full of sick people because it really isn't. You have to keep things in perspective.

Most child abuse is carried out by friends & family....yet you allow them to view the pics.?....and are concerned about a stranger?

He has no fence and metal cage around his window he has had it like this for 13 years so no reason for the cctv to appear now. Ive reported it both to the council who own the park and the police.

Personally I think that is very sensible.

and how do we protect our children from these evil people? or are we expected to let them do what they want?

example only - if your in a park and see an adult watching a child, the parents are with the child but dont notice the adult, later that child gets snatched. would you not feel bad thinking you could have maybe prevented it by questioning it beforehand...

i know people think its stupid and over reacting but i am not willing to let something happen before doing anything. if all is innocent then there is no problem

How come only two of use seem to have pointed out, or acknowledged that with a sationary camera, from that kind of distance, that even if there IS a !!!!!phile (of any gender or age), there's very little chance that he/she would even obtain any 'pleasurable' if even WATCHABLE footage, even if the camera was being manned?

The old man at the park filming kids could track them and film his favourites and was actively doing it.

This is an unmanned camera in a fixed position, further away.

Don't you hysterical types understand cameras?

if a camera is not able to view swings only 3ft from it then it certainly wouldnt be any use at viewing vandals/teenagers etc so would be completely pointless

My word those swings must be very close to his house if they are only 3 feet away.

I thought it was an upstairs window?
Are the swings very high then?
