Thanks looby. To be fair though, that doesn't mean there's a camera on the front of the house and the back?

In fact, I thought the OP said there was no camera at the front where his front door was?

OP can you clarify please? If the school is being filmed too as has been suggested, is this by a second camera? If so where is this sited?

Yes a second camera out the front
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.

which as I said earlier suggests they are there for security reasons and nothing more sinister.

I've found another .. If I give you the link can you report this one as well . . oh, hang on it's a weather cam, awww never mind we could have got him locked up, the dirty perv . .

oh heck, seems to be thousands of people have cameras on their houses, it's got to be some sort of dirty-old-man network . . aggghh it gets worse, some even have cams inside their houses . . there's garden cams, dog, cat, bird, budgie, squirrel .. the list is endless. The internet should be shut down it's full of . . er . . . . cameras

. . . and people who insinuate some really nasty things for no real reason

    http://
. . second thoughts, I wont publish the weather cam link .. m not a good idea with some of hysteria on here . . .
  • I work for a company that installs "security" systems. I shall be marching up the the Managing Directors office and giving him a good beating as thanks to this thread I have realised that there simply can be no innocent explanation for us putting up cameras everywhere. All our customers must be pedoph**es.

I have a relative who works at schools all over the country doing outdoor maintenance. In some areas he and his workmen have been approached by the police and had to show I D and give company headed paper to them - why? Because the police know that the minute they finish the job there will be pervs in yellow jackets trying to get into the school gates on the pretext of being part of the company. Sad, sad world.

You would think wouldn't you. From personal experience I can tell you not all pervs are intelligent enough to think about things like this.

    How many do you know?
I'm very pleased to say I haven't even met one.

So why don't the police just wait until the real workers pack up, drive away, then arrest the mob that arrives in yellow jackets minutes later?

Even worse you know, thinking about this, I know all the procedures that you have to go through to work on site in schools, and the security to gain access. The police won't even know someone is working there, so who tips off the police, or are they just parking up outside schools all day watching?
Is it the same officer each time?

Because at the time the real workers pack in for the day, the chip shops open . . . police can't be in two places at once:rotfl:

    My chubby mate's a cop . . hope he doesn't see this :)

Does he often see mobs in yellow jackets shambling around schools though?
