Filming kids in park

thinking about this more surely the other camera has to be at the front of the house. The OP says the house backs onto the park/playing field right?
Well unless the park is the worlds worst design and has a main road running through it, it HAS to be on the front of the house (or at the very least one of the sides) and it has to be pointing in a different direction to the first camera.
I visualised it kinda like a triangle. The OP said the school and the park were opposite each other so they would be the lower points on the triangle, with the house being at the top so the same face of the house could see both places.
'Tis all supposition though.Herman - MP for all!0 -
...but my point is, she doesn't know, no-one here knows...The only options are:
...
do nothing but discuss the situation with all and sundry (which will no doubt cause the tar and feathering situation you describe above)...
have a quiet informal chat with the local bobby making it clear there is no actual complaint, just a concern.0 -
As biscit said, I am glad to see some common sense here.
I find the whole sleepwalking-cattle-mob mentality thing very distasteful.
Remember the comedian Arthur Smith talking about the time a kid on the tube was sticking his tongue out at him. Smith being a bit of a 'cool old bloke' type stuck his tongue out back. The braindead mother of said child then proceded to accuse Smith of being a '!!!!!'
To me it is similar to the racism issue. There are so many hysterical halfwits and beardies jumping up and down screaming !!!!!philia at anything that moves that it diverts attention from genuine cases of child abuse.
In the end it is all about the "Look at me, I am so moral" attitude these days. How many absolutely terrible mothers have you seen who claim they are a good mum, as if saying it makes it true.0 -
How is he using this 'stethoscope' to photograph or observe people in the park??? Perhaps he is a doctor??"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

This may be a daft question, but how does filming children playing in a park cause them any harm?"Men are generally more careful of the breed(ing) of their horses and dogs than of their children" - William Penn 1644-1718
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so that stupid people won't be offended.0 -
this thread reminds me of the simpsons! :rotfl::exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0 -
You said he's filming the kids going in and out of school, but are you sure it's actually a school? I bet some of these sicko pedos disguise themselves as schools in order to lure kids, maybe he's just filming it to make sure that doesn't happen.0

I am a parent of 2 and I think you and the OP are jumping to conclusions and are worrying about nothing.
You say no teens use the park, well it must be the only park in the country that teens don't congregate in after dark/evening. Our local park is great through the day, lots of younger children and their parents using it, organised football matches after school etc, but after about 8pm the local teens tend to use it and it's not such a great place. A lot of the houses surrounding it have CCTV now as a deterrent to the teens, they have been caught trying to break into sheds, bonking in the bushes and being generally anti social. The police and council wardens do patrol the area at night but they can't be there all the time so the residents have to do what they can to protect their properties.
The fact that this house has cameras both at the front and the back makes it pretty clear to me that it's a security issue and nothing more sinister.
Teenagers use thr "main" park in the area this park is on the main road just up from the police station so teenagers would clearly be seen.
I have a park on my estate too and no teenager us it either. My next door neighbour does take his sons over to play football on the grass on weekend and none of our neighbours record the park and the one house has his front door open up onto the grass where they play ball.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
emweaver also knows the area it would seem and posted this
it's worrying that she jumped to the conclusion the cctv must have been put there just to film the children going in and our of school
I did not say this is what it was put up for I was merely pointing out that he was picking them upWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0
