Just wondering - the "features" section mentions 4 bedrooms (which I thought would be a good selling point for someone looking for a holiday home) but there's no photos of these? There's also a description of the views from the bedrooms but a photo or two would be nice aswell. I was trying to work out the layout of the two houses, maybe a floorplan would be helpful?

Looks really nice though, I wish I could afford something like that!

    Good luck with your sale.
  • The prose in your advert is very off putting. Why ? it has no definition, no paragraphs, no bullet points. It is juts 40 lines of writing and I can't be bothered to work out where one point finishes and another starts. It is exactly the same when someone posts a long post without punctuation and especially paragraphs.

    Spread it out.

Get a link to google earth to show where it is.

If google maps goes there with street view, then get that on there.

Links to flights from UK airports, car hire, local attractions, shops etc.

Then, you need someone who does not know anything about the house to check your website. Why ? simply because you are too near to it and you know all about it. I cannot tell where it is, how to get there, what the annual temperature is, local taxes, cost of electricity, solar availability, satellite tv and internet, etc. All the stuff which took you many years to learn will, if put on the site in a helpful way, show people how they can live there and how they can live that dream.

I like it and the price seems reasonable for what's on offer (although I don't know what the market is doing in Andalucia at the moment so maybe I'm just judging by UK standards). It looks very like the setting for my friends' house in Canillas de Aceituno in Axarquia.

I agree with other posters that if you're wanting buyers from outside the local area then you should try to provide more information about the village, the region, transport, facilities etc. Maybe if there are other websites with this information you could add some links to them?

Good luck, if I have a spare £100K I might consider it!
  • In the process of updating in the next day or two, so listing in a state of flux. We have taken all your views on board, thanks.

Just a thought - have a look at the descriptions re transport/access/locality/stuff to do/links on some UK holiday cottage websites. Might give you an idea of what people need when looking for a holiday cottage / second home etc.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

That is a LOVELY house - best of luck with the sale.

Does that mean you're coming to Pembrokeshire now? ;):D

Nothing to add as I know nothing about the property market in Spain - but love the house! Wonderful views. Hope you get a buyer soon.

    I wish! Won't have enough money!:rotfl:

No....an apartment in our home town in the Midlands where we have our existing house where our son lives with his girlfriend. Then we can lock it up and leave it and they can keep an eye on it while we rent a couple of months of winter sun in southern Europe. :)

    Thanks for your good wishes.

I hope you have good luck with selling as your house is idyllic and traditional rather than the new builds influxing the market. The fact your house has character is a bonus.
