I'm doing ok - can't believe how focused I am - next week might be different and this week's not over yet. Got no real temptations in my way but that will change when I go away for a few days on sunday week. I will just have to plan ahead. going to dublin and there's 20 euros worth of Guinness included in the deal!!Treat the Earth well,It was not given to you by your parents,It was loaned to you by your children.Masai proverb0

Well week one over and a modest 1lb off, not complaining though as I did'nt give up anything other that chocolate. DH has 3lb off and so that is my motivation to continue. Will continue to just cut back on sweet stuff for now and see how we get on.
Cinema tonight with just a diet coke, awh. I'm def gonna miss my popcorn:(
Beanrua, how are you doing?
Anyone else on board?0 -
Had a good laugh yesterday. Bought electronic scales and set them all up and jumped on. My heart leapt when I saw how much I'd lost 'til I realised it was displaying the time. 11.00. Nevertheless delighted to have lost 3 ponds since last week. remember i didn't lose a thing the first week - so def going in right direction. This low carb def suits me, no effort and no hunger. Just a bit of forward planning. Feelin good and staying motivated. Stay with it angeloveschololate - we'll be looking great for Xmas!!!!!Treat the Earth well,It was not given to you by your parents,It was loaned to you by your children.Masai proverb0

Glad to see this back up and running. Back from holidays half a stone up. But still over a stone down from my heaviest. Goal between now and christmas is to drop about a stone, which would leave me the lightest I've been in years. And to get back to pre holiday weight by start November. I've not got my eating right yet but have got straight back to the gym and am gradually addressing the eating issues. Good luck everyone!0

Right first session back to gym last night weighed in at 88kg (13st 8)
So apparently a bmi of 27.8 never listen to that crap anyway awful measurement system.
First aim is to get down to 13st then take it from there haha.
Nice 60kg squats & bench presses feeling it today!!0 -

Oh dear I haven't quite made it to the gym at all - was such a lovely day I spent it in the garden so I suppose that must count for something. Everyone seems to be well motivated and focused which is great.
angelaoveschocolate - Well done for having no chocolate to-day. You must be feeling good about that.
belfastgirl23 and cooki2222 - Well done for getting into gym. I just can't seem to get there. I think about going every night - sometimes I leave out my gym stuff - so I'll get up in the morning and go -but I never do.
Eating low carb food and love it - I think I could do this long term it's so easy. I feel my body is changing shape and I notice my jeans looser. I was looking at the high waist jeans on Next website and might treat myself to a new pair. High waisted bootcut jeans def make you look thinner. I got my firwst pair about 4 months ago ande couldn't believe the difference. Might wait til I lose a bit more tho. Stay strong everyone and think how good we're all gonna look in our little black dresses for Xmas!!!!Treat the Earth well,It was not given to you by your parents,It was loaned to you by your children.Masai proverb0 -

Ooooops!!! point taken my friend- but if you stick to the plan you could look good in one if you wanted!!! Good to have you on board.:D
I have tightened my belt up by two notches - each notch is 1.5 inches = 3 inches total - I'm thrilled. :j I find myself trying on my old 'thin' clothes and def seeing a difference. This is keeping me motivated. For the first time in a long time I genuinely feel I can DO this! Think I will stall the gym until my weight stalls and then that may give it the extra kick it needs. That's my excuse for now. Doing a lot in the garden and plenty of walking. Upward and onward!Treat the Earth well,It was not given to you by your parents,It was loaned to you by your children.Masai proverb0 -
Guys, you are guilting me into keeping going. I'm sooooo craving a bitta choc, but how can I when thats all I'm giving up and you are doing so well. Cooki2222 keep it up and you deserve a weekend drink.
Beanrua, so pleased for you 3 inches is a real result.
Well my weekend treat was a macdonalds, including a mcflurry, and 2 donuts, but no chocolate so another good day:)
Who am I kidding!0
