Then put on 3lbs the week after
Fingers crossed for next weigh in
Welll I went for weigh in...............
5lbs off this week!!!!!!!!!!
To say I'm over the moon is an understatement :j
When I look at it, really I only have a 2lb loss as I had a gain last week but still I'm really really happy
This is the lightest I've been in years and it feels so good to be in better shape and have clothes in my wardrobe that are now baggy on me instead of me squeezing into them0 -
week 36
lost 3lbs
grand total of 5stone 5lbs (75lbs)
12lbs to target:j:j0 -
week 37
lost 3 lbs!!!
9lbs to go!!
78lbs...GONE FOREVER!!!0 -
Wow piglet you are doing so well
I am stalling, I'm eating pretty unhealthily really but still exercising in a lacklustre way so staying around maintenance calories. Need to get back to the fresh fruit and veg. If you have any motivation to spare piglet please send a little my way!!0 -

ahh thanks :A
i seem to work the opposite of a lot of people,
most people seem to start out all guns blazing....whereas i am getitng more and more motivated as time goes on..
at the start i could never have said..."i am gonna loose 5 or 6 stone"
i just said "i will loose one and that will do me"
and i just kept going..when i got to 4 stone....i set my final target (6stone 3 total loss)
but now that i am only 9lbs from target, i KNOW I CAN do it! i do expect the losses to slow down, but i know i WILL get there.
i have gone from 18.1 to 12.7 in 37 weeks, and from a 22 / 24 to a 12 / 14, so my motivation remains sky high
now....when i get to target....and it comes to maintaining....that could b a whole different ballgame!
i know i HAVE to keep it off....but i know it will be hard.....tho i do keep saying....for me..being fat, was far harder than getting up off my fat a$$ and doing something about it!:o0 -
Can I join you people please?
I only need to lose about 9lbs but my willpower is very weak!
Starting weight a few days ago : 11st 1lb.
I suffer from boredom eating during the day and the 5oclock munchies when waiting to make the dinner before oh comes in at 6.30
Do you post a weekly weigh in or just when thee notion takes you/Norn Iron Club member 4730 -
Welcome artytarty :wave:and yes I think we just do post as the notion takes us! You're doing well to start when you don't have a huge amount to lose, lots of luck!
And piglet I know what you mean, I'm down about 2 stone and my motivation over the last 6 months or so has maintained pretty well, much better than it normally would (with the usual ups and downs). If I'm honest, I'm just going through a stressful period at the minute and don't feel I've got the energy to focus on this properly. At least I have some holiday time over easter which should give me a chance to get organised in the house and do a bit of planning about eating etc. I'm going to focus on maintaining or even losing a little between now and then. But not gonna beat myself up too much just now, I think it's a time for being kind0 -

no, never beat yourself up over it all :A
they key behind it all, is organisation..making lunch for the next day the nite before, leaving something for dinner out of the freezer that morning, and so on,
cut yourself some slack over the next week or so, and get stuck in at Easter0 -
Thanks for the welcome!
I'm of to a bad start as we are going to Dublin for a birthday party today!
Wine and food and being a guest means loads of calories! but I shall try to be moderate about it all.Norn Iron Club member 4730 -
