  • I have a pound on this week at SW, not too bad seeing as how I was out at the weekend celebrating ;)
Back to basics I go, 5lbs to target :)
  • I'm another lb down so that's 3/7 for February :) though it's not feeling any easier. Rach can you heat food up at work? I've been making a stew or soup of some sort on Sundays and it does me through till Wed for lunch. Arkonite I'd love to be 5lb from goal, well done you!!

As a ps I tried on my size 14 trousers that i've had for about three years now :o and they kinda fit. Not so you could really wear them in public but if my Feb plans come to pass they will be wearable....

Changed my weigh in day from Sunday to Friday (so that it doesn't immediately follow any blow outs at the weekend!!) so had weigh in today 5 days after last one iyswim! Anyhow, 2lb off!! Not as much as I'd have liked but still happy and got my first ww 'star' for 7lb total loss :j Tried to go to aerobics last night across the road from home (3rd time lucky, chickened out last 2 weeks!!) - got all dressed up and eventually after changing 5 times felt ready...... it wasn't on!! Was soo cross and a tiny bit glad that I didn't have to do it and didn't need to feel guilty as wasn't my fault!! Have had fruit and carrot stick overload today and feel like tummy about to burst! found new lunch solution, ww tuna in tomato sauce on dutch crispbakes!! Made veg soup last night (more bloated tummy tonight then....)

Well done belfast girl and Rach, I've now well and truly hit my target - gone from 12st to 9st 12lbs. since beginning of October. That is, from a size 18 to to-day's size 10 jeans. I've got clothes size 18, 16, 14 and 12 - gonna get rid of the big ones this week. I love low carb food so it was no real hardship for me and apart from the odd walk I didn't have to indulge in any painful exercise - altho' I would have if I really needed to. The one big thing that helped me was Irwins 7 seeded white loaf at only 6 carbs a slice - which meant that I didn't have to do without bread - altho' I did do without it for a while before I discovered 7 seeded. I have never felt hungry or deprived of food and I'm lucky as I really like that kind of food. I realise that it may not suit everyone but I tried other ways of losing weight and they just didn't work for me - this is now a firm lifestyle change for me that won't be difficult to maintain. Whatever method you are using, I wish you well and good luck with the weight loss.

Wow Beanrua, that is an incredible amount to lose in such a short time! Well done - enjoy every second of posing in your size 10s lol!! Hopefully my and Belfast Girl will be wearing similar before too long!! I'm not a great bread eater so no bothered about missing that but finding that filling up on fruit and veg is having an uncomfortable effect on my tummy from time to time! So far WW online seems to be working a treat though and finding it quite easy to stay within my daily points limit even at weekends and even while having a couple of glasses of wine!!

last nite lost 2lbs to take me to 13.5.5:D

    total loss 4stone 9.5lbs

1 stone 7.5 to target (to a very generous target of 11.12 might i add, but im female, nearly 38, 5ft 6, and have been very overweight for a long long time

people are already telling me not to loose much more, but i really do feel like i can reach and more importantly maintain that target, if i go too low, i wont maintain, thats for sure, (been there, wardrobe full of tee-shirts!!!:D)

WI this morning - 2.5lbs off in a week!!!!!!! Woo hoo! That's given me such a boost - I'm definitely going to carry on with the protein shakes. It's a bit boring tbh, but I mix it up at the weekends by having 1 shake + lunch + dinner (midweek is 2 shakes + dinner). They really keep me feeling full, I'm so chuffed! No more grazing at work for me!

I'm 5'3" and 10st 4.5lbs as of this morning, therefore I have a BMI of 25.6 - so I'm still considered overweight! But I WILL lose that 1.5 stone and get into my fab wedding dress :):):)

Hi piglet74 - wow @ your success so far!!!! :D You're doing incredibly well. Don't listen to people who tell you that you've 'lost enough' and should stop - in my experience they are usually uncomfortable with the 'new' slimmer, more confident you. There's been a lot of research into this - do a quick google. You can and you will lose more, and you will feel even more fab! :D

Oh I am so happy for you all :j:j:j- you are all doing amazingly well - I can practically feel your happiness.:T:T:T There are different kinds of people out there - those who support you, those who are jealous , those who are envious and those who are genuinely pleased for you! I've met them all and the only one that matters is you!!!!!!
I lost weight for me! and I'm so pleased that at long last I've lost my pregnancy gain - albeit 26 years after my last pregnancy!!!! :)
Stay strong and stay focused - just bought my first bikini in yonks - and I just love seeing myself in any reflective surface now instead of cringing with shame. I look years younger and have loads of energy and generally never felt better. Perhaps my new found self confidence is running away with me - but I don't care. I intend to stay this way - and I keep a photo of myself at my fattest in constant view so I don't forget what I have achieved. Good luck and stick at it.
