I realise there are many pages of diet motivating commenst..but not wishing to start a different thread I wanted to assk whether anyone had stuck with the 'wii fit-board-on-the-floor thingy', done jogging etc on it...and obviously portion control...more water...but had actually lost weight?
I remember ages ago when they were promoting the wii boards and the celebs were in the ads...but we have only just got this one and wondered whether it was actually useful or just a gimic!
Any thoughts?:D:beer:0 -
Well my final post holiday weigh in and I'm 3lbs up in total. Which is nothing short of a christmas miracle. No gym and too much food for 14 days! Anyway back on the horse now. My goal is to drop the 3lb again in the next 2 weeks - I have a particular event in mind I want to be back to the pre hols weight for. Hope everyone else is now back on the horse again!
And happy-gardener welcome. Sorry I don't own a wii and am more of a gym goer but anything that gets you moving is bound to help a little...0 -
Hi all - weighed to-day and no damage done - have 4 lbs to lose to reach final target weight - 5lbs would be even nicer. Total loss since end of September 1st 10 lbs - surely I can find the motivation deep within me to get rid of the last 4lbs. Anyone want them????Treat the Earth well,It was not given to you by your parents,It was loaned to you by your children.Masai proverb0

Wow that's amazing, 4lb, you can have them gone by end of January easily. Good luck! I am choosing to be inspired by you rather than envious of you!!0 -

A woman after my own heart.
Can't afford a gym membership..or even the commitment to regular work-outs....bought a cd yesterday for jogging to?....I am more of a fast walker...so will try to go for a 'brisk walk' even if it is every other day.
Would love to loose 2stone..if truth be known....feel down at times...will monitor what I eat...again pocket cannot afford fish&salad daily ..if mince is on offer in the shops...have to feed family too!
Anyone in the same boat?:beer:0 -
