  • Had a very carby day today - toast for breakfast, baked potato for lunch and pasta for dinner. Although I'm sure that part of the problem is that I'm 'addicted' to carbs, I also feel like the biggest problem is that I just really like them. Or rather, the things that go with them - I have lots of really lovely pasta sauces that I make that I would have to give up if I stopped eating pasta etc. I just like the stuff :(

Anyway, 3.17 miles walking and 16.13 miles cycling for me today - I'm off tomorrow so was planning on going on a nice walk, but the weather looks rubbish, so think that may be out the window!

I was having a really boring afternoon once so decided to google BL and all the previous episodes and where are they now type of thing and the vast majority of people had given up not only the gym training (could not fit it into their lives, having to work bring up kids etc) but eating heathily and watching what they actually ate and had mostly put the whole lot back on had to go out and buy another set of clothes and they all said that they felt ashamed, guilt etc but it was real life not a T.V yes they learnt but they did not learn enough to carry them through.

they recently had a dinner get together with all the champions, only erik had blobbed out, opps and ryan lol, cba to look up the episode, i got them all here thou :p, ah it was in season 10, where are they now special :)

Bob occasionally tweets the current figures and stats, I would say thou that most of them in finale need to gain a bit of weight and most do as its not healthy to be that lean

only a nutter would carry on exercising 4-6 hours a day :rotfl:

you have to break the cycle, its takes about 3 weeks, you wont miss it once you have

you can eat the meat (or none meat protein) with the pasta sauce (as long as its not loaded with sugar) just put it over a huge pile of veg rather than pasta

alliwantistosave - Thanks thought it was very nice for you to say "well done". I must admit it's best I've done for ages having spent years increasing weight. Your baking experiences sound like mine only I use the oven whilst it's on to do as many recipes as possible hence the dilemma; it all looks very tempting. Often it will get put in the freezer!

FS or anybody - when it's convenient please advise about my previous query.

Would it be vain to say I have gorgeous arms? :rotfl::rotfl:It must be all the Insanity workout I'm doing :j I wore a small sleeveless top to the gym today as the baggy one I usually wear, to hide my tummy, is in the wash and I caught sight of my arms in the mirror when I was on the crosstrainer. They look so toned and definition of muscles and I thought, "not bad, woman. Not bad" even if I say so myself :rotfl::rotfl:so at the moment, my best body part are my arms :T

Moving swiftly on, Fred please add on to my challenge:

    Bike 10K 46mins (269 calories)
    Crosstrainer 5k 42mins (375 cals)

    Total: 15k/9.3miles (same as yesterday)

no gym for me last night :( but have been really good yesterday :)

10 miles on the bike today and been good too :D
breakfast: blueberries with 0% greek youghurt(as every day but might have something "meaty" tomorrow)
    snack: low GI cereal bar
    lunch: tuna salad
snak II: coffee + 40g dark chocolate
    dinner: turkey stir fry probably

re carbs: My main problem is chocolate, ice cream bisquits etc. but will work on it with help of dark chocolare and good bars... :)
I'm totally fine without bread, pasta etc. might crave it once a fortnight or so but proteins and veg are now my best friends :D

fredsnail - Thanks for your chart and the congratulations. I see that my target is reached. However, I thought you continued to the end of the month to achieve the five pounds. Am I right? My six pounds obviously not to fall by more than two? Thanks.

Hi dannie, yes you will continue to the end of the month on the 5lb challenge, the fact that you've already reached this doesn't matter - as long as you've lost a total of at least 5lb by the end of the month you will have completed the challenge. It just says target reached because you've already lost 5lb, otherwise it would show you how many lbs you had to go to complete the challenge.

We do weekly charts and each week the member who's lost the most is awarded the Slimmer of the week title - this week it's you so congratulations.
