hi everyone!
hope all fine...fred will you oplz add 3mile of walking for friday and 5 miles today .
no exercise from last few days but no sugar in tea now and just one or two cups of tea every day and also no chocolates and biscuits from last 5 days no cola toohope to lose 1lbs this week but not sure

Can I ask one thing for everyone logging distances for the monthly climbing/distance challenge - please can you post all your distances in either KM or Miles - some people are posting both for different exercises and it makes my job harder having to convert them both to one or other and makes it much easier to make errors.
I don't mind whether you post miles or km but it's easier for me if you stick to the same format.
There are 0.622 miles per km or there are 1.609 km per mile.

It's fine Matryoshka - you always post yours in KMs so have no problem with that - it's just that some people mix miles and kms which complicates things.

Only lost 1lb this week.
I know I didn't do enough to lose more, but I'm still really disappointed. I now need to try really hard not to let this discourage me to the point where I give up.

Just weighed myself after being on holiday and not happy at the increase in my weight.
Possibly due to drinks not food, as I don't drink much alcohol but had a lot of soft drinks in the evening. It was not easy to avoid as the friends I was with were always moving bars - normally I can last on one or two drinks when I am out and that is not every night.
But excuses over and I need to go back to dieting for a month as I have another holiday soon.
I am not going to weigh in until after my next holiday as seeing all the extra pounds will demotivate me, I think

Gym yesterday and completes 421 metres climbed on cross trainer and 57 metres climbed on treadmill - so 478 metres to add to the challenge Fred.
I think I probably did a bit too much to be honest as I was completly shattered for the rest of the day.
Good news is that I have begun to do some squats throughout the day which really seem to be helping my sore knee. The pain I have is just above the knee and I was told it was probably tendonitis. When I first started doing the squats I could feel it stretching the tendon and was quite painful but now feeling much better.
