Weighed in at - 3.5 lb loss today. Not sure quite how I have done it as not a particularly good week for me, but I am not complaining.

Only 1lb to go before I am in the '15 stones'. Its a long time since I have been there, aiming to do it this week.
You can also get some pieces of exercise equipment really cheaply on eBay. Bikes, steppers, etc can go for as little as 99p!

Good idea Lolly - off to look at Ebay.

Boooo! STS this week for me. TBH I'm not suprised as I had a major carb binge yesterday (always happens the day before weigh in!). I must have eaten my entire weight in fruit, lol. Pineapple, blueberries, apricot, strawberries, melon, and apple! Was the first time I'd eaten anything other than berries for ages so kinda went over board.

I have actually been considring changing my diet over the last few weeks as I'm finding low carb to be a lot of effort, and it just isn't practical when you need to eat on the go, or eat out quite often. I never eat breakfast (just can't stomach food that early) so tend to find myself out somewhere at around 10am, starving hungry, but there is nothing you can buy as all of the 'quick foods' are carby or sugary. I did resort to buying Atkins bars which helped, but they are so expensive and I really begrudge paying those prices!

So, considering a low GI diet. I'm never going to start eating white bread, sugar, potatoes, etc, but I'm thinking that adding a few wholegrains or something might make it a bit easier for me, without compromising too much on the food front. Will try and spend a bit of time looking through the index tody if I get chance.

On the climbing front... I've done 5 sets so far, lol. No idea what that equates to so will have to work it out later.

There's a doctor's surgery next to my work so I popped in this morning and used their scales.

It recorded me as 61kg  I had on jeans and my jumper as have a cold and couldn't be bothered to take it off. If it's accurate, I am 1kg away from my target weight of 60kg

What do you all reckon? Should I take this reading? :rotfl:

It's a 1.8lbs loss for me this week which I am pleased with. Needed a loss of 1.6lbs to get me into the next stone so happy.

72.8 kg this morning. That's - 0.2 kg from last Wednesday.

Went to aqua-aerobics yesterday. Now that is a good work-out!

Hi, looking for a bit of advice please...
I love yoghurts but I'm quite confused with all the diet, low fat, fat free etc. variations...
Which are the best to buy? (both plain and fruit yoghurts)
What's worse fat or sugar in them? Or should I look at the calories?
I normally like Activia youghurts and for plain buy supermarket own low fat version but I'm quite open to try something else...
    TIA :)

Take it and run!!! :D I would think that doctors scales should be pretty accurate, and even if they're not, you still had heavy clothes on to account for any difference. You're not far off now! :T

Sugar is worse for you than fat, and the 'low fat' foods aren't great as they tend to take the fat out, then replace it with sugar! Always read the labels though as there are huge variations, even within the same brands. I would say go for one that has less sugar in, but do still check the calories and try and find a balance between low sugar and low cal. I can't recommend any as I don't really eat yogurt, but someone will probably be along soon to help!
