1.5lbs loss for this week. Going away for the weekend to stay with family who have told me that they have macaroni cheese and shepherds pie on the menu! Yikes! Not good for my low carb eating plan. I will just try to eat small amounts and fill up on veggies...don't want to be rude and be a nightmare fussy eater to feed, but at the moment I am on no wheat (bread, pasta) no potatoes, no sugar, no caffeine as I read that it causes insulin to "spike" and affects blood sugars and fat burning.0

There are starting today 2 other challenges running along side of the 5lb in a month challenge.
First there is a team challenge - West v East so if you live in the East you can join the East team, or West if you live in the west. The aim is for the team to lose the biggest % of their starting weight.
To take part in this challenge you will need to let me know your weight today (in total confidence) so that I can calculate the team's starting weight and % loss over the month.
The other challenge is to either climb the height of Burj Jhalkfa by steps, or exercise the distance by rowing, swimming, running, walking, cross trainering etc.
To take part in this challenge you will need to tell me if you are doing the climb or the distance challenge, and if you want how many times you are climbing or how far you will go in distance.0 -
Here are the teams so far for the East v West challenge - as you can see Lolly is very lonely on the Eastern side so if anyone wants to join in for either team let me know. Also the team names are temporary so if anyone has better suggestions let me know.

I'll do the distance on the Burj Jhalkfa one(can you add 5 miles from the gym crosstrainer and bike today please?)

I use google. I typed in 82.9kg into stones and I got:
82.9 kilograms = 13.0545154 stones
