Come on Southern Stunners, you can't let them win every week
    Hiya Fred,

Can you take me off the Southern Stunners please as I'm now concentrating on losing inches off my tummy rather than weight loss. Don't want to hold 'em back :D

I'm still doing the Eurovision challenge. Thanks.

What a great day - I am SOTW and have just been offered a job.:j
Off out for tea to celebrate, so weight loss might not be as good next week.

Congrats Jess.I have my weigh in tonight but not looking forward to it....Im certainly not getting 3 today.I did a batch of cuppies today and it was just horrible. But our neighbour has asked for a Tinkerbell cake for the 29th so that design will keep me busy.I dont often get to do girly orders.

Kitchen looks like a bomb hit it but Im scared to go in because I only needed half a batch of buttercream but I made a whole one so there's half left in the Kenwood:(
I did have my first driving lesson today though and she was very pleased as I did all 5 manoevres in the hour that we had-nice to know "Ive still got it":DI paid for 4 lessons but she doesn't think I'll need them all-she's talking end of June for my test-Ive spent all day thinking "how cool will it be if I can get driving again before the summer holidays:j
Just have to find a way in the meantime to not calm my nerves with food-any ideas?
  • Well done Jess :T Enjoy your meal :D

Well I made a very silly mistake today and feel really stupid about it but the more I am thinking the more I feel stupid :(
Went to do my final run earlier on my treadmill (that my OH brought me for my Birthday) But forgot that the other day I was messing about with the incline and didn't reset it to flat!
Started my run but about 10 mins in got a terrible stitch, at 15 mins I was finding it hard to catch my breath, at 20 mins I was struggling so bad I could of puked :( so at 25 mins I reduced my speed and walked for 2 mins then resumed running for the final 3 mins.
But I was totally dead on my feet at the end of it :(
I was really happy that I finished as I wanted to stop at 10 mins but I cannot believe that I couldn't finish my final run of the C25K as the 2 mins of walking near the end is not running for 30 mins
So I am going to have to try again either tomorrow or saturday now but on the flat rather than on an incline :o

Fred - can you add another 3.36 miles to my eurovision challenge please
    Restarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed

Need to loose 25lb / 3lb lost so far :(

  • Sorry for the late weigh-in but I have lost 1.5lbs this week, despite eating a croissant!
  • Thanks - I had been exercising after work and before my dinner, because I had read that your metabolism works harder after you exercise, and that was going ok. But the last couple of nights I just could not be bothered after work and ate tea first, but I found that I had WAY more energy after my tea, and was able to work out harder :j

Eric: does it make more sense to exercise after eating a carb loaded meal? Or is it still best to exercise beforehand?

Today I had a yogurt and a Nature Valley bar for breakfast, beans on toast for lunch and I just had a take away pizza (not from any well known brands, considerably less grease) :o I did walk 3.24 miles, and I will do 40 minutes on my bike later, AND the pizza had loads of veggies, so maybe it will be ok...

Well done everyone for the losses! :T
