Good luck with the interview Betty.

Hasn't your aunty got a laptop/computer over at hers so you just take the discs? If not, you'll just have to rest up girl :p

Yeh she's got a computer, but i've got the workouts saved on the laptops and computer at home rather than on discs. But you know, that's a good idea, i might just use her computer and save the workouts on a usb stick, but gonna be tricky, what with her computer being in the living room, and the living room being used by people. And especially as she's going to be giving birth soon, there's gonna be an influx of people coming over to visit and offer their congratulations or see how she's doing. ARGHH.

....But i might do them in the morning. It's very close to my workplace aswell. :) If im unable to do them, I'll just do what betty said and do some of the moves but just repeat them again and again. :rotfl: I'm at my aunts as we speak. Won't be able to do the workouts today as haven't put the workouts on a usb yet and so obviously don't have it with me, but will get my younger sister to do that for me and bring it over tomorrow aswell as some change of clothes.

Thanks guys for the advice. :)

Got a job interview this morning! Keep your fingers crossed for me!! I'm nervous!

    STS please fred :o

well done dinah, eric, jess and lolly! :j
Thanks, Betty. I guess it's too late to wish you good luck, but hope it all went well.

Well, I've been all over the place today, and each time I went somewhere I thought, 'I'll not be long, so I won't bother taking the pushchair'. Must have spent around 2 hours carrying the baby around today, and my back and arms are killing me! He weighs 15 lbs, which is what I've lost! It's really strange to think that I've lost what he weighs, and to think about how much of a struggle it was to carry him around with me!

No more to add to the challenge yet, although hoping to do a bit more later, I think I'm off target so need to get back on track with a big bike session!
  • Happily reporting a 2LB LossThis week thanks Fred :A

So my weekend didn't upset my weight in fact all the walking did the opposite :rotfl: So I am a happy bunny tonight and looking forward to my final c25k run tomorrow :j:j

Hope all went well Betty my fingers are crossed for you :D Also well done on getting out for another run :T Are you still enjoying it ? I can't believe tomorrow is week 9 run 3  So providing I don't injure myself tonight or fall up the stairs or something in the morning I cannot believe I have made it to the end already :j

I think she has a right too Vix :p teasing her about her age ;)
How about doing squats? they tone your legs and your legs ache like hell for a few days after? Also cycling is suppose to tone your legs too. I also swear by my Fit Flops but some people say they are a con but I do believe that last summer when that is all I wore my upper thighs toned really well. But I don't know how well that would work with your foot :)

Squats are a bit dodgy with my knees! I have recently bought a bike so i'm hoping i might notice a difference in due course. I'm doing cross trainer/treadmill with leg weights at the gym...but nothing seems to be happening. I can really tell the difference in my arms and chest area, i think thats the rowing machine and the arm weights with that!

Still, its early days. I'll see what happens, i may even get the guys at the gym to suggest some things/plans focussing on leg tone. Its just the drawback of being a pear shape!!
  • Hi everyone :)

I have a question about best times to exercise...

Would it be 'bad' to do the 40 mins on my exercise bike at say 10pm? Are there any negative effects to exercising so late? When is the optimum time to work out?

If it makes any difference I usually eat dinner at around 7pm.

    Thanks :D
