We still have a Friday take away, fish and chips looks the best option, anything where the fat isn't integrated into the meal, unfortunately OH's favourite is curry.

Have found this so will use it as a pointer:

alas the usual NHS wrong information, fat is good for you, fat helps you loose weight, its the pizza base, batter and potato that will force your body to store what you eat as body fat due to raised insulin levels

sad to see they have not even seen the research that has proven salt even in moderately high amounts has no impact on health

they just can let that dogma go

in terms of takeaway, curry is the best option, loads of tandori dishes, nuts, cream and ghee all good for you just avoid the nans, battered stuff and have a half cup of rice

i normally have a tandori mixed grill and get them to swap the nan for a half cup of rice and sensible amount of pasanda sauce which is cream and nuts (just dont eat a pint of it lol), say 3-5 tablespoons, about 100g. Even better would be to drop the rice for a salad

The health providers just wont give up with this wrong information, even thou obesity and health issues increase ever more as they ever more push this wrong information and more trials come out proving its wrong information ..

fat dont half fill you up

50g of cream fills me up for longer than 300g of steak !

i have been feeling stuffed since i moved over to 55% fat, dont seam to be having any issues with only 50g of carbs either

Yo Eric. Went into the tesco near my work today to buy roasted beans. They showed me to the coffee section :rotfl:They've never heard of roasted beans and I couldn't find it. Does it have an alternative name? :D

They're by the Food Doctor, and I found them next to the nuts and stuff :)

Today I have had a glass of Innocent orange juice, a tub of instant porridge, a slice of left over crustless quiche from last night, and some greek yogurt with honey.

But I really feel like eating crisps and chocolate until I feel ill

Just having a rubbish day, I guess :(

Thanks. I'll try a bigger Tesco cos I instead bought peanuts & raisin mix (whole foods) but didn't see any roasted beans so I'm guessing they don't stock it!!
