Went for a jog this morning. My usual route 6.98 miles/ 11km. Did it in 1 hour 15 minutes. My last jog was 1 hour 21 mins so shaved off 6 whopping minutes :T:j I must have been fuelled by the crisps and chocolates I ate yesterday :rotfl:Who says junk food is bad? :p

Came home and did Max Recovery instead of Max Interval Circuit which I felt was too intense after my jog so Max Recovery 47 minutes.

    Today's total workout: 2 hours 2 minutes :j

    Hi all!

Back from Hols, only a week in Cornwall but weather was lovely and so was the food :), the kids and OH enjoyed it and we got out and about every day. On the food side I did restrain myself, although the OH can get annoyed if I push the diet thing to hard so I did not measure my calories to the nth degree as I usually do (i.e. weighing my dinner and working out calories to decimal places :rotfl: ).

The campsite we stayed at had very little level ground so it was hard to find a place to run but one 100m length of service road seemed near enough flat so I ran that backwards and forwards as many times as necessary. I have currently completed 2 of 3 runs in Couch to 5k week 2 so still on course :D and now I am home I can go back to running round the park. Whilst there I did use the park slopes to help me put some effort into walking on the days between the C25K runs.

For the pets challenges I have a vast choice including Horse, Tortoises and fish but I will plump for Dog (Ginny 5 year old Tricolour Rough Collie) also I am English and I will try for Essex to Cornwall including traffic jams there and back 20 hours for the exercise challange, Thanks Fred!

For last weeks weigh in I was not able to do it at the time so will including in next weeks, however as of today I am guessing the exercise balanced out the food so maybe I have lost 1lb over the last 9 days.

Anyway, best wishes to all you triers out there!

Hooray finally some movement in the right directions on the scales! Morning weigh in shows I have lost 2lb this week.

I must say if it wasn't for this place and knowing I can log my weight and time on the bike I know I wouldn't have stuck to it. Thank you all! I have another 10 pounds to go but I never though I would every be 10 stone anything in my lifetime again.

I am now 10st9 and three quarter pounds :j
