I seem to recall someone posting an alternative podcast for the couch to 5k NHS one with different music - can anyone find the link - everything I've googled goes back to the NHS one which is fine but if I can find better music I'd be happier :j

Fred - try this http://www.c25k.com/podcasts.htm I don't know what the music is like on these cause I kinda liked the lift music on the NHS one :rotfl:

Can you add 2 hrs of walking to my 24hr total please

I'm still suffering from my cold/virus that is making me cough terribly :( But I went for a walk on the beach on thursday to try and clear my head but no other exercise  Hope I get some sleep tonight and feel a little better in the morning. I want to try and get out on my bike tomorrow as a little less stressful than running. This no exercise is really frustrating and I have very itchy feet ........

Occy - Well done on still doing your C25K while on holiday. Whereabouts in Cornwall did you go? You were quite lucky with the weather as it has been raining down this way for weeks

trigirl1979 - well done on the loss but I normally find that it takes 2 weeks for a good week's exercise to show in weight loss.... IYSWIM ? So you may get a good result from next week too, so don't give up :D

Matryoshka - do you think I should wait until I am completely better before trying the fitness test ? or If feel better tomorrow should I try it then ? (I have a really nasty chesty cough still and a sore throat at the moment)
    Restarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed

Need to loose 25lb / 3lb lost so far :(

Evening everyone. Managed 1 hour 30 mins walking today. I had said I was going to do 12 hours, but due to having tendonitis in my calf I have failed miserably as this is the first exercise I have been able to count this month.:(
I did lose another 1/5lb this week taking my total weight loss for July to 10lb.:j
I would like to sign up for the 5lb challenge although I'm hoping to lose 8lb in August.
I have a cat and dog so put me in whichever group that means please.
My leg is feeling much better now so for the exotic challange I will join my Dad in Melbourne, as I will for real in March (can't wait), and thats 22hrs 55 mins.:p

If you've never done Insanity before , then I'd suggest you wait until you're better. If you are following the calendar, it starts on a Monday anyway ;).

I use a calorie needs calculator on WLR - http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/logout/calorie_intake.htm?gclid=CPz--dSaq6oCFRJc4Qod7Ue35w

You have to sign up to use it but it's free for 24 hours (you can also sign up again later for free - I can't even count how many free trials I've had!).
