Victory There's no need to be sorry:) and thank you for your kind words...Ive actually already been in contact with local councelors,MP's,Ive been getting in touch with news paper who report other similar situations. Those peoples details have been going to the same place.

The person I called yesterday was the
Driver Communications Manager, Performance, Surface Transport(Quoted from his email signature.) and he is one of the people Im meeting with on Monday

    Beanie Thank you.

So I've just checked my step counter for what I did yesterday and it says
9041 steps and a distance of 3.76 miles! which explains why Im in so much pain today.I did have to walk to the post office too though so Im keen to see what the pedometer says with just the two way school run.

    Hey Everyone,

It's a 2lb loss for me this week.

Although a 2lb loss is great, it's just taken me back to where I was over a month ago. I've just been hovering around this weight for so long so really need another loss next week, MUST TRY HARDER!!!

Congratulations to everyone who lost this week! :j

I know what you are saying but I just presumed they would let me on, turns out they won't. The thing about the disability malarky is that no one tells you anything, nothing, google is my God, he tells me things like if you register with your local shop mobility scheme you can then get on the bus go to town and loan from them a scooter, never knew that, parks have them off roaders all terrain ones, ring ahead and book, all theme parks etc have them, you just need a 4 digit pin code.

My OH loads and unloads mine and he is finding it very hard, it weighs 65kilos and is bulky and difficult to get in and out of the boot he wants us to buy a disability van but they are way out of my price range, I have googled until I am nearly blind and there is help with it out there but you have to jump through hoops for a very long time before they will even cosider helping but when a foreigner comes into this country.................

If I do get DLA after the person comes round to assess me then I also found out that an annual merlin pass to get into the theme parks, london eye etc with the DLA I pay once and the carer goes in free, might as a thank you for both my youngest and OH buy that and at last we could all have some fun.

Youngest is so lovely to me, he went and checked out his school to see if I could get in and out with the scooter as I had to go up there yesterday, if we go along the pavement he shouts 'drop kerb' to help me, he is so lovely he also tuts with me when people cut in front of me or there is no drop kerb and I cannot get by.:rotfl:

Keep at them, keep going, never let them win, show them you mean business, complain over and over and eventually they will take notice;)

Back to a gain this week. I have not been on the scales for a few days, trying to get out of the habit of letting myself eat more if I have lost or cut back even further if I have a gain

So, result has been a 2lb gain

I don't usually drink but Friday I opened 2 bottles of champagne (not all for me, but I must have had the majority of it), and 3 glasses of red wine on Monday (never again! Should have just poured them straight down the sink, less painful)

Then when my houseguest returned after an absence of 2 weeks he brings the most lovely bread and keeps asking if I want toast. I am easily led...........

Fred - I am away at the end of the month, so I will just stick to the 5lb a month challenge - though the way it is going for me it will be 5lb a year. I thought the holiday would be enough of a reason to lose the weight but it hasn't happened and I know it is my fault.

If anyone wants to buddy me I would be really grateful - I'm 5ft and need to lose 2 stone
