Great effort from everyone! I just wanted to mention that weight is fluctuating during the week anyways, but you keep the same wait on average. That want happens to me if I measure my weight daily :)

    Fred,

Just wanted to check whether there is a particular day that we record our miles towards the Eurovision Challenge, or do we just record on a daily basis?

If daily, could you record 2.18 miles for me (walk).

  • Not a happy bunny at present as pulled L calf at work on Saturday so not run since Thursday as I thought it best to rest, But hope it is feeling better in the morning so I can complete week 8.
Had a very funny experience last Thursday My new work uniform arrived (I was measured in January for this) and funnily enough it does not fit. When I tried it on my OH said I looked like a child on the 1st day of school with clothes 2 sizes too big as you will grow into it :rotfl:
Anyway I need to go down 2 sizes so it has all had to go back for exchange which is a nice feeling but means I cannot allow any weight gain or it might not look so nice.

Fred - not 100% clear on this month's challenge but can you put me down for 2 circuits (is that 32 miles?) Or just put me down and I will post my distances and I will see where I end up :rotfl:

Welcome back Raphael I'm sure you will back down in no time

Betty - how is that knee of yours doing ? You have been a little quiet again :)

Vix - you raise some good points there, I'd love to be like you and eat whatever I want and not put on a 1lb but I guess I am one of the people whose insulin goes into overdrive and just stores fat :( I just wont let it any more.

Hi Polkadot, I am finding exercise difficult at the moment due to sore/stiff joints; currently being tested for rheumatoid arthritis..

I cant do the yoga coz I fall over:rotfl:I can absolutely not stand on my left leg for more than a few seconds-had a kid break my nose at primary school with a netball coz I wasn't doing it right when they did that warm up where you stand on one leg and throw the ball to a team mate...that was when I decided this game of "pretending I could do normal stuff" that my folks had me on was a lark.I joined the chess and drama club after that:o
Good to see you too polkadot and many congrats on your new baby; I know that wasn't necssarily an easy journey but hopefully worht it now:)
Ah:) hello...it was a horrible journey-Im still on it with all this blubber. But yes,it has been woth every bit of it-he's too cute-started leopard crawling this week end:)

Thanks for the welcome backs, nice to be missed :p

Went out for a run today, I started running again last week. I managed to run 37 minutes non-stop which I was very pleased with, I've been getting up early in the morning and running before getting ready for work, I'm tired by the evening but it's nice to get it out of the way. If I leave it til later in the day I can't be bothered as I get comfortable infront of the TV.

I checked my WI results for last tuesday, I was 12st 10 with 27 BMI, so we'll see how I do tomorrow! :D

alliwant: For years i used to look at people eating whatever they want with envy, untill i realised i pretty much am the same. I hardly gain weight, nor do i lose it. I'm trying not to care about food, and slowly i'm changing the way i think about it. Warburtons do this bread called "thins" its just a peice of small bread, and today for lunch i thought i'd make two but there were only 2 slices of ham left. So then i had a little cob on that i couldn't have two sandwhiches so i had to do with one. That was enough for me, but my brain still worries i'm going to starve on that!

    Hi raph!! *waves*

Fred: I'm up for it, i'm just struggling to get it!!
