Went along to a healthy eating group that my GP had referred me to. Spent most of my time thinking 'Thats not what Eric says'

I asked my GP back in April for a referral to 'someone who really knows about weight loss'. I said I didn't mind paying. I really had in mind someone like Dr Christian Jesson of 'Embarrassing Bodies' and 'Supersize vs Superskinny'. Eventually I got an appointment to see an NHS dietitian and I go there tomorrow, 3 months after I made the initial request.

I'll report back on what is said! I doubt that they can tell me anything I don't already know, have gleaned from a lot of different sources but I can always listen.

2 hours 30 mins exercise done today. Brought a 2.5kg kettlebell from argos today was £20 now £4.99 bargain. but theres no instructions in it so i need to look on the web for the proper way to use it as i dont want to hurt myself by doing it the wrong way.

hey everyone, can anyone recommend a protein shake to aid weight reduction? (ideally one that does not have milk powder added, though whey should be ok)

I've been putting on weight recently and consider doing more exercise and eating strictly to really get into shape. Are protein shakes helpful for losing weight whilst avoiding muscle loss?
