    Hey everyone!!

My first week is done!!! 6 days on the trott and F me, this is more intense than anything i have ever done before. My body is literally running off of nothing this week, i've been eating rice for dinner and sometimes just raspberries. Lunch has been crisps and a satsuma, toast for breakfast. I've been getting up at 5:30 and then going to sleep at midnight roughly... chucking out about 13 or so hours of study in a day sometimes!

But, its fun, and i will NEVER EVER look at a plane the same way again! One bit of advice... always sit near an over wing exit and listen to the saftey demo! ha.

Hope you guys are cool! I literally have no concept of days, weather, time or anything!! Its sunday but it feels like a normal day! I am drinking wine.

Oh god i didn't tell you, i got 98% and 100% in the first exams i took today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so exciting :) Right, see you soon folks!!

I have told myself i am going to treat myself with every stone i lose

What a good idea - now need to plan a treat for myself when I eventually get to 15 st.

Well done Vix - sounds very intense but exciting.

1 hr 50 min excercise for me over the last few days Fred. My shoulder still giving me bother, but trying to work around it. So frustrating
  • Evening everyone :D

I am buzzing after doing my Race for Life this morning :D and I managed to run the whole 5km - and not only that I managed to do it in 27 min :j:j:j
I cannot believe how well I did and my goal was to finish in under 40 mins. My best time before was 36 mins so to cut 9 mins off my time is awsome :T
Then after the race I went to the beach, had some nice lunch and an Ice cream then went surfing. So a lovely day and I feel like I have achieved something today that I thought not possible.

Watch out Eric I'm coming for you :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So Fred can you add to my challenge this Month:

    Running - 46 mins
    Running - 27 mins
    Surfing - 2 hrs
I will add any more to my weigh in on Wednesday Thank you :A

Vix - well done on your results, I am glad you are enjoying your training. I don't think I want to know why you advise to sit above the wing  I just wish they would give you a little more leg room as my OH is over 6ft and always has trouble with his knees hitting the seat in front. Keep up the good work

Beanie - I think you should treat yourself, I think you always feel better after a hair cut :D

    Somethingsgotogive - Welcome back :D

Lolly - hope you manage to sort out some sort of timing thing for you bike - if not how about a kitchen timer? Set it for thirty mins and go then if you need to stop and go off you can press the button then resume when you come back ? HTH

Margaretclare - well done on the swimming - I wish I had your preservation in that front. I think I need to go swimming more often to help with my paddling when surfing.

I'd been doing the plank wrong all this time. The Bodypump instructor showed me the right technique today.

How did you do it wrong before ? and what difference did your instructor recommend ?

I think i will lose about a pound or two if i cut my hair as its so thick and long at the moment, only normally have a trim so i do need a whole restyle i think.

My back was sagging in the middle. She said I'll do my back in. She got down and showed me how it should be done. Her back was completely straight - no sagging. A little slip of a girl she is :rotfl: but very muscular :rotfl:

  • I think it is a 2.8lb loss for me this week - I was **.10.6 and I'm now **.7.8 - that's 2.8lbs down, isn't it? Maths isn't my strongest point :p

I don't deserve it though, should have been a gain - I ate a lot of chocolates this week, maybe about a box full over 3 days, and I had two fast food lunches. I started eating normally again on Friday, and did an hour on my exercise bike on both Friday and Saturday, but surely that wouldn't have made up for the badness of the rest of the week?

In some ways it really wasn't so bad, I was having a few chocolates at a time (whereas before they would have all been gone in seconds) and I picked the 'small' size at the fast food places, but STILL.

Does this mean that it will be a gain this week no matter how hard I try?

I am reading a book just now called 'Confessions of a Reformed Dieter', and it has made me think quite a bit - I really don't know why I am just so fat (other than I ate a lot). In the book she has suffered years of abuse and torment about her weight and other issues, she can pinpoint why she is obese; I can not. I might make another post about this later once I have my thoughts in order.

Anyway, if my maths is right then I am now over the 3 stone lost mark :j And hopefully this week will be MUCH better food wise, although I am off work and I'm going to Pizza Express tomorrow night, so we'll see.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
