Hey gang,
I forgot to weigh in this morning, haven't had time to get to SW class (so I'll be in trouble and paying double next week). Busy, busy time at the mo. Got another festival this w/end to prepare, so not getting much time to do much else. Food is good/bad. I got to the gym on Monday, and I'm going 1st thing tomorrow morning, before BF & I whiz off to Manchester in the afternoon. I am feeling today like I've put on weight, but earlier in the week I felt OK, so who knows? I'll get on the scales 1st thing tomorrow to keep myself on track.
So, this week I'll log a STS, but next week will be a proper recorded weight.
Puds - lovely to see you here again. I had wondered where you'd got to. How are you finding your new way of eating/living? I'm still not sure what a 'normal' portion size is, and tend to think my 'normal' is too big for most ordinary sized people. My feeling 'satisfied' would have others 'stuffed'. I need to just learn when to stop, and recognise that not feeling hungry anymore is sufficient enough. I also use a smaller plate, unless I've got salad. I say all of this, but then have been eating McDonalds most weeks, when for years I've avoided it like the plague, and have got into the habit of eating bread again, which I know is my demon. Ah, we try to battle these things. Sometimes I wonder why my tendency to self-sabotage is so strong, but if I knew that answer, I'd probably not keep popping my head round the door here.
DMV - lovely to hear from you too my lovely, and so glad to hear that life is moving in lots of positive ways for you. Well done on the course, I know how bitterly disappointed (and faffed around) you were last year. Oh, and yes, where in the South are you, and welcome!
Well done on all the losses you lot. In the words of Mr Grace from Are You Being Served? 'you're all doing very well'!
Right, off to do the family's dinner now.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Thank you for the course congratulations - i still have one hurdle though - a maths test on the 23rd July. Well I say "test" two gcse equivalent papers. I am hideous at maths and thought I was fine seeing as I already have an equivalency test for uni in the first place but now they have decided i need a newer harder one and having been out of habit i am really struggling. Worse case scenario i fail and my place is held for a year, they have already said they will defer me rather than make me apply again which is good but ive had to give notice on my current school job and i need to start it asap so i can qualify and start earning some money to pay off debt. A "blessing" in one way is i have just been signed off work because my wrist is completely *insertswearwordhere* and i can do nothing and am in ridiculous pain so i have some time to revise, albeit in discomfort.
I weigh in tomorrow night at SW,not sure I will get the 2lb I want seeing as im meeting my sister in the cafe for breakfast tomorrow but will make sw choices. I am in Hertfordshire which is South East I believe. One of the most expensive places to live hence why im sharing with a friend and doing shift work as well as school job...which obviously means money wise is rubbish whilst im off sick. However...I LOVE IT! Have lived in the cheap north but this is where im from its my friends and family and i love being able to jump on the train to see shows in London. Saw chicago and the woman in black over half term with wonderfully good and cheap tickets from lastminute.com.

10 miles on the bike today too
I'm feeling soo positive atm... I feel I got my diet right this time as I eat good food and keep losing weight so very very pleased
had strawberries, blueberries, greek youghurt and ground almonds for breakfast; chicken, pineapple, sundried toms and veg stir fry for lunch and dinner, coffee and cereal bar for afternoon snack and couple of pieces of dark chocolate just nowlots of water during the day and in a really good mood
I just hope I won't ruin it all this weekend while away from home but definitely will be back on track from Monday
And many thanks to all you lovely folks0 -

Hi Fred, can you put me down for 7.37 miles walking and 22.79 miles on the exercise bike over the past couple of days, please? Thank you
I seem to be getting sick, which is NOT helpful  I really was hoping for a big number next week, but if I get sick and can't exercise then it will be rubbish. Stupid body.
Well done everyone on the fantastic losses this week :beer:0
