Fred, can you please add 467ft. to the exercise challenge, which should bring total to 1633ft. so far done. Not sure if you received the pm stating that i wanted to change it to one round only rather than doing two.

Eric/Anyone: What do you think about Coconut milk as a post-workout drink? I've been reading about it and wanted to try it especially after Insanity but as it's not cheap, thought I should ask on here first.

New to me, some info here

A 0.2lb loss for me. I looked at my body fat% and muscle mass%, and muscle mass gone up and body fat gone down. :D So not feeling too bad about the minimal loss. I know im not that close to goal yet due to the still out of normal range body fat% (only 0.2% to go till it's normal :D) and also the fact that i still have a lot of flab on certain parts of my body. So i'm just putting this down to a bit of a plateau and that i need to do something different now. (wasn't exactly that great with exercise or food last week). So gonna get serious again and try to change things.

5 miles on the bike on Friday, 10 miles today + 3 miles walk

big party this weekend and probably too much wine and vodka, but not too bad otherwise... didn't really feel the need to binge on all the crisps etc. as I prepared some really nice meat and salads and a big cheese board... still missing the gym but I'm trying to be really good and as soon as my sister is gone and my uni exams this weekend are all done I'm back there :D

We're planning to go on holidays in September and I'd love to be confident wearing my bikini :o

IF I'll manage to go down to say 68-70kg until then I promise I will :D
I know it's a lot and a really hard target but I hope I can do it the "proper" way this time...
Even if I won't loose that much but my legs will get more toned I will still be happy :o and of course carry on after the hols! :p

Thought I was getting my head around weight loss and calories - but if you really do need to eat more than 3000 calories to put on a lb of weight - then to put on 4 lb I must have overeaten 12000 cals in the 4 days I was away. The thing is I really don't think I did - so find it really confusing.

It's not an exact science unfortunately, and I've had the same thing happen where I know there's no way I've overeaten by x amount!

Remember any weight gain isn't necessarily all 'fat' gain. I find holidays can do funny things too - you might find it evens out after you've been back home for a bit longer.

    Have a good week everyone!

a big part of this will be water retention which will go quickly
  • It was a 3.6lb loss for me this week - bringing me to a total of 37.6lbs lost, however, when I went to the doctors today I had lost 19kg, so a little bit more than I have accounted for as I was losing before I had my first weigh in. I'm still so worried that I'm going to give up up and pile it all back on once again

Fred, can you also put my down for 8.39 miles walked and 31.87 miles cycled on the exercise bike over the last few days, thanks :)

I really need some extra motivation, things are getting a little difficult lately...

Can't I just wake up tomorrow and be thin? :p

Fred - while I was away OH bought me the Kettlenetics DVD and Kettle Bell set you told me about. Looking forward to trying it tommorrow. Have you used yours yet - what do you think?

I used it once Jess and it took me 3 days for my bum and thighs to start talking to me!!

Make sure you do a proper warm up before even doing the intro dvd as that was all I did (but I didn't warm up). I've not had a chance to do it since as I twisted my knee dancing at a TT concert - hoping to get started again in a couple of days now my knee is better.

But you definately felt it the next day so it must be doing something.
