Maryoshka: Good news! I might ask someone at the gym what exercises i can do for my stomach, we should share the tips, see if they have anything good to say. The trouble is the blokes at the gym are all hot and buff (particularly one who is ALWAYS there) and to ask him would be really embarassing!
When you're brave enough to ask him, let me know what he says :rotfl:misstamsilakanwal wrote: »anybody please some help i want to lose my lose and fat belly but cant as had a surgery in my last pregnancy three years back and when ever trying to work out finishing with lot pain in stitches ??????

Is it usual to still have pains 3 years on? Perhaps you can google exercises you can do after a c-section or your GP can recommend something for you to do. Is your son better now?SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

I would still keep an eye on that rash though
I have - I've been counting the spots every few hours, lol. I'd have felt a lot better if they had offered some sort of explanation for it, but we left both the doctors and hospital with a great big question mark! He's still got the rash, but he's fine in himself now, so I can't really worry too much.misstamsilakanwal wrote: »hi every one sorry was busy with my son in hospital he was no doing well and nor me so didnt go good in exercise and not even food and again put on 3 lbs .so i am 71kg again . not sure what to do .really want to lose wait but not getting time for exercise and work out. anybody please some help i want to lose my lose and fat belly but cant as had a surgery in my last pregnancy three years back and when ever trying to work out finishing with lot pain in stitches ??????

Aww, I know how you feel, both of my DS's are constantly in and out of hospital for one reason or another. I hope he's doing better now.
I do wonder the same as matryoshka, if it is normal to still get pains after so long. Maybe you should concentrate on toning up, as it won't aggravate your stitches, and extra muscle will burn more calories throughout the day.
I've just bought a 'Shake Weight', it claims to be up to 300% more effective than traditional weights. I don't know how accurate that is, but it is definitely a very effective workout - I can barely manage a minute! I can bounce DS (17 lbs) in the air for ages, but this weight really tires me out! I've not had it long so can't say that it has great results, but it does seem to be a quick way to work out as it hardly takes any time for my muscles to start aching.0 -

Good news, its impossible to target areas of your body to burn fat from! So exercise that focus's on your tummy to burn tummy fat is 100% pointless.
Anything that gets you moving that you can do will burn calories, the more parts of your body you move the more calories you will burn, jogging / running / biking / swimming are some of the best exercise for calorie burning
I suspect it is not normal to suffer pain in a wound after 3 years, you should see a doctor about it.
loosing weight is 85% about getting the diet correct. Keep a food diary to ensure that you do not over eat and avoid processed carbs like sugar and flour.0 -

If you use it rather than sitting about doing nothing then it works, however the 300% more efficient than normal weights is utter nonsense, the range of motion is highly limited, its more cardio than anything else
It also has a design flaw :rotfl:

As a former midwife I can state that it is definitely NOT normal to be still having pain in surgery that was 3 years ago. The stitches will long since have dissolved/been removed/fallen out, and healing will have taken place. However, extra unwanted fat will always put strain on a healing or partly-healed wound. You need to see your GP if you're still getting wound pain so long after surgery.
(NB: Glue is now routinely used for quite complex surgery - result: no stitches and no scars. I only discovered this recently when DH had a small accident at a garden centre on the way home and a cut on his head was glued. Apparently glue has even been used for things like hip replacement - no scar!)
You do NOT need to get into things like work-outs, gym etc to lose a little weight. As I suggested earlier, a walk around the block is a good start. Then walk a bit further and a bit quicker.

Yo Fred, add on to my challenge please. It was just a warm-up before Aerobics as I got to the gym early but every little counts
Crosstrainer - 2k/1.2miles - 18mins - 163 calories
I then did:
30 reps on Upper Back machine
15 reps on Abdominal Crunch machine
20 reps on Leg press machine
10 reps on Shoulder press machine
Then Aerobics for 1 hour
And today is supposed to be my rest day from Insanity :rotfl::rotfl:
I don't think I'll join next month's challenge as I'll be doing my cardio with the Insanity workout which is hard to calculate distance etc and at the gym, I'll be concentrating on toning and working other parts using different machines/equipments
Eric/Anyone: What do you think about Coconut milk as a post-workout drink? I've been reading about it and wanted to try it especially after Insanity but as it's not cheap, thought I should ask on here first.SECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:
