  • Thanks, lolly101 - yes, I picked it up last night, and I love it! It's only a three door, but that's fine by me - and it's just lovely to drive. I am just in the door from my first solo drive in it - went out for about an hour, and only managed to cover 18 miles, haha. Most of that time was spent in the shop, choosing 'New Car Smell' magic trees, and buying new mats for the floor :D Hope you find your perfect car soon :j

Fredsnail - could you add 2.44 miles walking and 11.61 miles cycling for me, please? Thanks :)

I'm off to do some more cycling in a little while, but think the chart might be up before I have time to post my distance...

Well done all the losers and stsers!

Very quick post from me, as need to cook dinner (Sea bass, butternut squash, and courgettes with spuds for DH)
2.5lbs weight loss for me. Very pleased! Will read thread later

Does sea bass have lots of bones in it? I love fish but very funny about bones, see one, eat one and it puts me off for life:D that is why I stick to cod or salmon or tuna anything that is bone and skin free

Sorry Fred, can u Zero me on the chart for next week, can't really take into account my previous loss, would feel like a cheat as I've put a stone n half of it back on. So although I'm still lighter than I was, my !!! is still to fat for my knees or my liking. Thanks hon x

Hiya fredsnail, under distance covered, I've got 0.00%. Does that mean I haven't reached anywhere? :rotfl::eek::rotfl:

Please add this on to my challenge please:

    Crosstrainer 1 hour - 6.20k - 550 calories burnt
    Bike 24mins - 5k - 135 cals

    Total: 11.20K = 6.9 miles :D

  • I bought Sea Bass fillets, so no bones. They were reduced in Waitrose, so I treated myself! Very tasty. I agree fish bones are really off-putting, I even fillet tinned sardines!

Just had the day from hell. :( DS2 was a complete grump yesterday and spent the whole day sleeping and crying (in equal measure!), I assumed he was coming down with something, and luckily he seemed a bit better today... until I noticed a purple rash starting to form! Not good!
His health visitor was due to come round anyway so I showed her and she thought we best get it checked out. We then spent over an hour waiting at the doctors, only to be told that we needed to go to the hospital. We had to go home and wait for him to be referred before we could go, by this time it was 11.30am and I'd still not eaten so we stopped off at Morrisons and (as I was so hungry) bought a basket full of carp :o - diet out of the window for the day.

We barely had time to [STRIKE]eat[/STRIKE] BINGE before we were called up, so we went straight there and have only just got back now. Nobody knows what the rash is, but he is not poorly enough for it to be meningitis. :) I've just got to keep an eye on it for the next 24 hours.

I've had a huge knot in my stomach all day and I'm feeling worn out now, even though I've spent the entire day sat on my bum! I've just had a Morrisons pasta salad for my tea (bleurgh, why did I buy that???) and have worked my day's calories out as 1750, which is better than I thought it would be! I'm also planning on doing a bit of exercise tonight to bring that total down a bit.
I finally did a workout last night, and feel much better for it. I just need to get back into the routine.
  • Lolly, so sorry to hear your DS is poorly. What a worrying day you have had. I would have headed for a bottle of wine and the chos after a day like you had. Hope he gets better soon!

    Evening all,

    I remembered!!! Yay!

Nothing amazing though, it was a STS this week for me.

It's been a busy week, and here's the cake Eric, hope you like it. The birthday girl was delighted.
