Good luck with being strong.Any time you feel like wavering, just remember you aren't doing this for you, you are doing this for your kids so that they can have extras like other children

I guess with the double shift you just have to think of the money next month...

LOL at your brother and choosing a dog. I have only rescued cats before and I just went for the ones that seemed to be interested in the visitors coming past their cages!

Chev ....when i say double shifts i mean 2 lots of 3 hrs - lunch then tea, week in week out!!!!

I know what you mean about rescue animals i've had a couple and i purely went on rough size and which appealed the most, didn't care what colour, breed etc!!!!

Hi, everyone seems to have had an eventful day. I just got my hair cut (long overdue) and did some long overdue chores today.

My daughters going to her grandparents tomorrow night, so will just be me and my son. I'll use the time to clear out their bedrooms again. He will be going to bed early, so I can watch DVDs and chill out!

    morning

Well the drama that is FB was a joke  Apparentley god son had been on Fb gone for his lunch and not logged out, so one of his friends, i use the term loosely, thought it would be amusing to put that post, unfortunately for him he also posed as my god son and 'spoke' to god sons mum........there is going to be an enqiry at the college and stupid laddo may possibily lose his college place  Spoke to god son last night talked him out of giving the lad a good hiding ....he says he just feels humiliated... i think i managed to cheer him up! We have arranged for him to take DS fishing

Payday tomorrow :j Mmmmm...still gotta be careful need to save :p At least these 2 weeks have proved to me, myself, i that i can manage very well on very little money :D Long may it continue:T

DS brought a letter home yesterday about his school trip for YR 6 ....they are on a residential weekend at Whe Hall Centre, Buxton....abseiling, rock climbing, caving etc :T Cost of the trip is £135  but we can start paying now so i need to get a payment card from school. Will add it to my sig later.

Kids are going to their dads after school so i can have a relaxing 2 days and i too will be snuggling on Saturday night and watching a DVD :D Fried Green Toms i think :p

    Enjoy your day people :D

Morning Spike, Lucky you having a whole two days off!

It will just be my DS from about lunchtime today, not quite as good, but almost. :D

Got a busy day later. Shopping, plus I want to finally collect the other pair of curtains for my living room. Had one set plus 2 new curtain rails gathering dust for months now. The old ones were only supposed to be temporary measures, when I first moved in.

I plan to re-paint the living-room and perhaps hire a carpet cleaner within the next few days. I will chill out with a glasss of red, my graze box, and a DVD tonight though. :T

Hope you have good plans for the weekend. I will be doing various sporting events with the DS's . This involves lots of running around....
