    Morning Spike,

I'm just having a quick 1/2 hour on here befiore I crack on. Are your chickens just for eggs, or would you eat them? Got a whole one in my slow cooker today.

I'm going to the dump later, so my front garden looks a disgrace, old vacuum cleaners, bits of washing machine, and unwanted furniture, etc. Will be nice to get it cleared, as can't move in my house.

My son has tipped nail polish on my carpet. Just when the felt tip was fading, he's brought me a new challenge. Bless him.:A

Hope you're having a good day.

your council provide a collection service for large/bulky items? maybe if you looked on their website under waste it may tell you!

Yeah, a truckload of rubbish, old furniture sent to the dump, so my garden no longer looks like a scrapyard. Go me! :j

    Hi all
Just read through your diary. Well done on starting the budget etc. I will NEVER understand how men when they leave home, suddenly feel that they don't need to contribute to the running of their children. it always makes me:mad:.

Don't !!!!! foot around go to the CSA and make him pay, or at least threaten to. Your children deserve to have his financial support

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

    Thanks Chev x

I have thought about threatening him with CSA i'm araid i'm being a bit of a wimp and still 'mothering' him and i feel guilty for leaving him!!!! I really need to get a grip and sort it out! i am dreading the aftermath tho ...as soon as you challenge him he turns into a complete @rse!!!! I to be honest i don't want to have to deal with that, its one of the (many) reasons i left! What he has said is once he has paid his parents back the money he brrowed for xmas he will start paying me ......how can he do this tho when his wage at the mo is around £150 a week  I wouldn't mind but his parents have offered to buy the house and let him live there for a nominal rent and leave it to DS and DD in there will, which is why he wants to stay in the house and not sell it himself!!! I do keep broaching the subject but don't want to push it too much because he will simply tell them thanks but no thanks just to go against any advice i offer

I will find the strength from somewhere and tackle him about it....lack of self-confidence/esteem on my part i'm afraid :(

    I couldnt agree more!:T
I would also like to add that will you please stop helping him pay off the debts that are in his name and get it sorted huni!
I know you dont want him to starve ( he can afford beer and fags ) but you are responsible for your children -not him. He is not at risk of being homeless/starvation (reasons which you may or may not choose to disclose on here) and he has treated you very badly as far as money goes, not to mention the emotional blackmail he still uses to try manipulate you. You know my feeling on the issue and say it only out of worry for my mate:A!!
Maybe its time for a complete fresh start..yes you are a single mum ..SINGLE.. you walked away from your family home with nothing and no help and he does not deserve your help:eek: He is an adult and has to live with the choices he has made and you have no reason to feel guilty or responsible anymore .....so here is a huge hug ((())) and sorry for sounding bossy ;) :rotfl:x
