Good afternoon everyone. I've had a really good day today. Went to a party, with bouncy castles outside for the kids, while I met up/chatted with some old aquaintances. We had afternoon tea served in porcelain cups, with lovely cakes, and little sandwiches. I fell off the bouncy castle most disgracefully. I was trying to be elegant, but ended falling off legs akimbo, a bit like an baby elephant. :rotfl:

YAY to camping :T MOT first tho :( t'will be ok tho cos i will have some savings :D

I wouldn't mind about the healthy snack if it wasn't for the fact she takes 2 healthy snacks everyday! And as she helps me prepare them se knows what they are!!!!!!

Yep I know hun..they just presume all parents feed the kids chicken m'c twizzlers or something of that nature and haven't got the intelligence to know what healthy eating is (or this is how they sometimes make you feel!!) . As they require the taking of healthy snacks in lunch box's I am not really sure what they are trying to do?
But I suppose their intentions are good and you just have to go with the flow...
Hmm MOT why do I keep forgeting about that!? Mine is due april!

Oh bless you Spike. You make me feel so guilty. I have my little whinges, but I ain't had it bad that way. Got a private arrangement, which works fine. A good first step, and glad you had some time to yourself. Nice to just chill out, and not feel tied.

Camping sounds good. Went last time with some mutual friends, and took loads of food, beer, and wine, plus music. It was a really good laugh. It rained, but even my daughter was up till late dancing, and running around in the rain, barefoot, with us. A really good break. I got rid of my camping equipment after that as ex decided he preferred to stay in a lodge. I so regret it, as I'd love to go camping again. Good times.

^^^^^ Because i have been at ma n pa's all day building chicken run and coop :D so chicken run is half built :D and after speaking to ma at t-time coop is more than half way there :D Only problem i seem to have is pa saying his coop, his run and his chooks  To say i have had to correct him is an understatement :rotfl: Everything is now 'ours' :D ooking at it positively at least the cost will shared cos i was going to pay for everything.......i have a feeling we will have chooks by the end of next week :j

I have also done 2 loads od washing and had them hanging out all day so they are dry and smelling scrummy, folded but not put away

Picked DD up from school sat in garden with drinks and hobnobs and a lovely chat about everything and anything, back to school for DS, tea and then bikes, DCs and mutt up to field...tired does not describe it :rotfl:

The trouble is i never think i'm badly done to IYSWIM ...i just carry on regardless! It sounds awful but i love my saturday night/sunday morning, don't get me wrong i miss the DCs terribly but oh the peace :rotfl:

Oh camping :jif i ever realised my dream of living the country life i would still go camping in the Dales (i currently have 3 tents):D Last time me and Bertie went camping with the kids we took our supply of wine for the week and drank it ALL the first night we were there:eek:_pale_:coffee:
I don't think we will be doing that again in a hurry:rotfl:we will make it last 2/3 nights:rotfl:

Bertie pointed out today XOH hasn't actually given me any extra money as he owes me for the school photo's  Really do need to have serious disccusion with him about the maintenace

Hope ypu are all enjoying your evening :D Thanks to anyone who has had a read and to those who have posted :D

    Evening peeps

Ever woken up with the feeling you've forgotten to do something important? I had that feeling this morning  and while cleaning my teeth i remembere d ...... i was supposed to go to friends last night to discuss her wedding cake and cupcake design, she asked me to do them for her as she loves my cakes and cupakes, the wedding is only 4 weeks away! I had to phone her this morning and grovel and apologise :o and i've arranged to go next monday. To be honest i am not doing them alone i have enlisted the help of another friend who is absolutely fab at cake decorating :T Phew!

Another NSD :j I just need to make sure, as of next week, i keep the NSDs up! And start my saving fund ;)

We've had another productive day with the chook coop :D so far we haven't spent a penny :A I ahve had one of the best days i can remember with ma and pa today :D mainly due to pa's add hock thrwing togeher of coop.....width and depth measurements - 104x111x121x123 :rotfl: after lunch we attempted to make the door frame 1st attempt done until he picked it up and half of it fell off 2nd attempt ....same again :rotfl:i have to say to my embarassment i very nearly peed my pants laughing :( anyway its all ok now and has the door on :D Oh and as i knelt on the coop floor near the nesting box the nesting box floor gave way :rotfl:
that has also been put back on :rotfl:

Took DCs to field after school, mutt and bikes in tow lasted 20mins then the heavens opened and DS fell off his bike and cut his hand open :( so we trudged home to sort that out.

Baked some more hobnobs while tea was cooking, why oh why do Twinks hobnobs never last as long as they should ;)

Although this week has been VERY MSE, more through nessessity than choice, this diary doesn't come across as money saving :o as of next week this should change, as i need to focus on keeping my budget under control - so i aim to post my weekly meal plan, any spending i do (kids need new school shoes) money transfred into savings and payment made for the money i owe to friend

You will have to get a photo of the coop when its done and let us see what its like!
Went to sainsbugs today and they have some new offers on that hopefully you may be able to take advantage of next week..and they also have all new trolleys! I used to like the idea that I never needed a pound coin (as I dont often have change) but now they are all chained together.
Hope ds's hand is ok! x

Forgot to tell you about the trolleys :p and have they made the aisles narrower?

Getting into a panic ..... i don't know when pa is wanting to get the chooks, i would prefer to wait anothr week as when funds enter account, i will have to take DCs for new shoes  I will ask him today see what he says :D

Back to work tonight :( on the plus side no cooking :T as friend who looks after DCs while i'm at work has my tea ready for me when i go to pick them up:j
