:DAaaaaagh i am soooooooooo tired :rotfl:

Phoned HB office today to double check if when DS reaches the age of 10i will be entitled to 3 bed HB allowanc, whil i was on she also told me my HB would not be reduced until 9 months from my claim annniversary, feel very relieved! When it is reduced i will still be getting slightly more than i am getting now but it all helps :D

Shed finished....found a wheelbarrow, how i didn't notice it before i will never know :rotfl:, a hose pipe, and a watering can ....thank you landlord
Nipped to post office to put some money in :T

    Did school run

Took kids up to field with muttley, did my duty as penalty taker (so DS can practise saving goals) then i was goalie while he practised shooting.......mmmmmmm less said about that the better me thinks. DD was whizzing about on her bike trying to find the steepest bumpiest hill to cycle down....i swear she is an adrenaine junky already

Tea and then i decide to make some hobnobs...yummy :p

Made bed, read story to each of them

Now sat with lappy relaxing, wont be klong before bed is calling :T
Think i will just cut the grass tomorrow and maybe go to friends for lunch, she told me to call if i wanted so i think i will, i've earned it :D

Nothing from Talktalk yet hopefully it will be in bank tomorrow :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a lovely evening :D

    Spike x

PS Sublime i've just read your sig ...... it just about sums up what i am trying to achieve...Lol xxxx

BAH!!!! told you i was tired!!!!!

I found my burger press machine thingy :T
Also brought my breadmaker, steamer and slow cooker in from the shed.....need to check they still work, they've been in the shed over the winter:eek: Fingers crossed x

Also will explain about landlord - he is wonderful and i am very very lucky.......he is one of my brothers best friends :D there is a whole gang of them, one of them is my handyman - landlord pays and landlords bother is my gardner although he just sorts out the larger stuff, as i said i am very lucky :j
When i took the house it came fully furnished (landlord up and left to move south for reasons i will not go into) and when i say fully furnished i mean fully furnished right down to kitchen roll and toilet roll!!!!!!! Bedding, duvets, pillows, BBQ everything and he gifted me the washer and fridge freezer, so really i hsould count my blessings, life is not all bad! I have bought new crockery etc as i am quite accident prone :o and we have our own bedding and towels etc i have boxed his stuff up and put it in the loft for safe keeping ;) Oh and someone had a serious case of OCD so i havn't had to buy any cleaning products yet  And when my tennancy was up for renewal i phoned him to see what we were doing and he said as far as he was concerned i could stay for the happily ever after :D Obviously i understand things change, but for now i can relax and enjoy :D

PPI Party Pooper Debt-free and Proud!
Whoo hoo - I have 3 hens - they are lovely. I got 3 mixed hybrids (actually we started with 4 but Mr Fox managed to get 1 one night when OH didnt realise the back of the cage had come undone )

Mine even have names and they follow me around the paddocks when I am doing my other chores :D Since they have become more free range ie managing to fly out of their fairly big run - it is harder to find the eggs. Only one will return to her box to lay - the others we find in the stables, on the hay even in the front garden lol.

Looking forward to hearing more about yours :D
  • Hi Spike, welcome to the forum, good luck with the debt busting and giving up smoking,i am sure you will find this forum to be your new addiction :rotfl:
I also have 3 chickens, they are FAB, best pets ever, really friendly, funny & relaxing to watch (i sit in the garden with a cuppa for ages watching them free range) and their eggs are the best i have ever tasted :)

Keep posting, you are doing really well.

Thanks for looking in mummychicken and lam x DS and DD are really excited about the chickens and a friend has said we can got to her house and she will teach the DCs how to look after the chicken as she has some :T

    MSE stuff -

NSD yesterday and should be today as well :T

Still no sign of any money from Talktalk  I ang them again yesterday and the guy i spoke to said it had been denied so he requested the cashback again and waited until it had been approved before confirming it was on its way to me ..... yer right!!!! It could be up to 5 days......amazing how when they request money fromyou its leaves your bank account straight away but when they owe you 5 days

Work today, lunchtime and then evening, DCs will be at grandma and grandads for tea and i will have mine, beans on toast, when i have picked them up. Will walk the mutt inbetween shifts and possibly cut the grass :T

Had a weak moment last night and so very nearly went and bought some cigs  thankfully Bertie had sent me a txt with words to the song ...chick chick chik chick chicken lay a little egg for me on it and that popped in my head, it was my saving grace:rotfl:

Washing to put out and sandwiches for work to make and then off to work i go x

    Enjoy your day x

    Spike x
