Had a productive afternoon. Bought 2 more sets of curtains, and some sealer, and painting materials so that I can crack on with repainting tonight while my son is in bed. He'll be going early. :D

Hired a steam cleaner for my carpet for next Thursday. The lovely man said they'll even deliver it, and pick up, as I'm unable to. :D My son just tipped a bottle of Ribena over the carpet, which I have scrubbed, but can still see, so want it back as good as new.

Its really gorgeous, and sunny here, so have hung a load of washing out. My washing machines broke, so will be the last lot I can do until Tuesday. I've just had an ice-cold sol after all that productiveness.

Hi hun..my weekend hasnt quite started off as planned. Was sat last night with a glass of wine in hand when dd phoned from her dads (its his weekend to look after beans) and she was feeling ill. So exh braught her home. Weekend plans now invlove slobbing on the sofa all day today and deciding what films to watch! Luckily she is feeling better so we are just going to chill:). I dont think she actually wanted to go there anyway..and I am not going to force her! Tomorrow is mothers day as we all know but I will be up early to go do cleaning job and then might bob over to my mums with dd. Then ds's are coming home from exh's and I am doing a sunday dinner.... Hope you have a nice time with yours at the garden centre!:D

So I hope you have a good weekend and are you going to put a plan on here to follow? I know you did your own spending dairy a while ago and it was a bit of an eye opener :rotfl:It always helps to write everything down :Ax

    Happy Mothers day peeps!

Curtains/rails put up. Painting done. Living room looks nice again, even the carpets. Still need a deep clean though.

Got a bench/linen unit to put together shortly. Feeling pretty pleased with my hard work. :D

Ex phoned up to wish me Happy Mothers day, which has made me feel a bit strange. :(

Oh well, on a positive note got a lovely homemade card and clay thingy, from my children, plus a box of Thorntons, which I've scoffed. :o

Hope you're all having a good day! :)
