Well, what can i say to their recruitement managers sales waflle?

I have actually been on their sales training course many years ago and i assure all readers here that it is the most heaviest and pressured sals pitch in the industry. I say this with a lot of experience as I am also a sales trainer, although I am a QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL.

They treat their new sales people like dirt, and on each "course" only usually about 5% stay on and make sales. They routinely charge sometimes up to 4 times the cost of their competitors, i have proof of this also.

THEY ARE MORE INTERESTED IN SELLING THE CONSUMER EXPENSIVE FINANCE THAN COATINGS.

They routinely prey on older people (I know i have visited some of their clients), and i have seen their gangs of spotty teenagers going "door knocking", and they encourage you as a salesman to "get the camping gear out" when making a sales, ie dont leave until you get the sale.

Our sales trainer at the time always told us stories of staying ALL NIGHT until they got a sale, or booted out.

In my 25 years of working in this industry, and now running a very successful and reputable european wide coating company myself, I have never come across a coating comnpany as ruthless as them.

...............while I do not knock the product they sell, even though they lie to people as THEY DO NOT MAKE IT, IT IS MADE, so i am told, BY WETHERTEX, and they show custmers some huge factory building in peterborough, when in reality, they only occupy the front and the top, the rest is a car repair garage!!!!!!!!!!!!

I assure their employee (or self employed commission salesman) that if they go on consumer review websites, they will be sure to find negative comments.:rotfl:

ANyway, i wont go on anymore, but rest assured if you are gullible enough as a consumer to let one of their salesmen in your door, and are gullible enough to fall for the 4 hour sales pitch, the bogus referral show home deals :rotfl:
and everything else they come out with, you DESERVE to be ripped off!!!!!!!

Hmm, 5% stay on?? You are correct when you state that not everyone completes the sales course. This is usually down to their own incompetence. There is a test at the end of the course you see, and if you don't pass it you don't get taken on. We have also never stated we make the product ourselves, please point me in the right direction if you have evidence of this as I would have to amend it. Sales waffle (which has two f's not two l's)?? I wasn't pitching a sale, just merely asking people to point me in the right direction of any negative views. Still there hasn't been any FROM CUSTOMERS which I think is quite important don't you?? Oh, I am not a sales man either. As I stated at the beginning of my piece I work in RECRUITMENT, (which only has two e's, not three), and if there are such sites I would ask you to again point me in the right direction so I can pass any feedback to the managing director. Hey, I'll even give you my email address : ant.recruitment@protectacoat.co.uk.

    Many thanks.

PS, we hire out the middle bit to the garage. We own the whole property.

Thanks for making fun of my dyslexia......................

................anyway, i have a copy of the sales script, which runs to many pages, plus a pitch book, which i tried to give back years ago on several occasions but no one was bothered, which details in great length how you MAKE YOUR COATING You dont), and your HUGE factory (another lie) and your referral close is laugh. Believe me matey you wont outsmart me.

to be honest with you, your method of marketing is slowly drawing to a close, and if planned legislation goes ahead to ban door canvassing little old ladies, which YOU DO, you will surely go out of business!

The fact that you mention it was years ago makes me wonder how up to date you are regarding our company. I am not trying to outsmart you either. Please also accept my apologies regarding your dyslexia, no offence was meant. But you were wrong on a number of points. We do have a huge factory as previously stated, but we don't make the product here ourselves. If you check the website you will not see any mention of this. After all, if you buy a tin of Tesco's own brand baked beans the chances are they have been made by Heinz. Get my point? I cannot comment on the ethics of the company from the time you were employed by us. Nobody remembers a Mr Bell so I'm not too sure how successful you were with us? I still haven't found any links either with actual feedback from unhappy customers, and again I would appreciate if you could pass on these so I am able to deal with them.

    Thanks again.
