What makes you qualified to make this statement ? Have you ever know anyone whos been to a strip club or worked in one ?

It really annoys me that all strippers or lapdancer are assumed to give extras. The club near me one dancer was caught giving extras and she was thrown out the door the second she was caught in the act.

I do not have a problem with strippers per say but a huge problem with people who think it's acceptable to treat women like this. A very good friend of mine worked in a big strip club when we were in uni and hated doing it. many of the women in the sex trade are forced into it by a variety of methods and reasons or emotionally damaged before entering it. it is not an acceptable way to view or treat women in my opinion and my other half is aware of my views. I would never 'stop' my OH going on a trip like this but he wouldn't be the man I thought he was if he wanted to go in the first place. I know my friend who worked as a stripper would have defended her job to people who judged her and say she felt 'empowered' by it but I also know that she was only being defensive and genuinely hated her job and the men who came. I'm not saying all men who go to these places are bad people I just think they don't think about it at all.

If he insists on spending money you and he haven't got on a sleazy activity, you're paddling in different puddles.
Not a good basis for marriage if he insists on putting the needs of his mates and his !!!!!! way above yours. Leopards rarely change their spots.

If in five years he's not done a single thing like this, and has so far avoided all such activities so as not to upset the OP, then surely the 'leopards rarely change their spots' school of thought would help him?

He's going on a stag weekend where are an unavoidable part of it will be these activities, on other stag weekends he has been able to avoid them, on this one he can't. So the choice, which the OP is making him make, is to choose between his OH and his friends (who she clearly doesn't like).

That sentence has hit the nail on the head for me :T

Don't be so naive, I assume we are talking about somewhere like Prague - prostitution and sex trafficking is rife, these strippers you like to think of as empowered young women who choose this lifestyle are most likely to have been sold to pimps as young girls.

No decent man would want to treat women in this way, as sexual entertainment whose sole purpose is to feed the mysogynistic fantasies of entitled and deluded men.
I couldn't be married to man who views women in this way.

Girls abroad are just as bad, there is no skirting around that, how many go off to ibiza for a weekend and don't even know who they slept with, or even if they used contraception, and what gets blamed, not self control but booze.

It's the stags weekend to do what he wants, wether the blokes go, you would of though would be up to the blokes, but it seems they are all held by the short and curlies by their women as to what they can and can't do.

Half of the stuff described on this stag do won't get done, they will be too smashed for most of it to have been remembered.

OH and his best friend were in america and had a chance to go into a proper hooters, both bottled it at the door.

How many hen nights have strippers, how many were able to rub baby oil over the bloke and grab a good eyeful at his package (and probably made a grab for it and blamed it on the babysham)

Girls hunt in packs just as much as men.

I went to a 40th Birthday weekend last year, ok it was Torquay not eastern europe, and for a bunch of girls we were all well behaved, me and my room mate were always back at our rooms by 10.30 more becuause i am ill and can't keep up, but then the rest were back by midnight.

But what we saw by the younger girls were nothing more that slu ts.

hardly wearing anything and happy to conduct oral sex out on the street in full view, quite a few forgot to wear knickers, and were allowing the blokes to do what they want with them (these were not our group i can assure you.)

This aparently was a typical saturday night!!

So whilst you ladies are laying down the law to your blokes, who probably work all week and could do with letting off steam, think on about how bad girls are with a sniff of booze, and yes booze it's always to blame, no one heard of self control anymore, or is it that old fashioned.

Would i let my OH go, yes, i've been to prague with him and seen for myself what it is like after hours, so no shocks there, but yes i wouldn't stand in his way I don't own him, he knows he can go, he knows he can play, he also knows that playing away would be the end of the relationship, most men know these things, and those who dare do it anyway usually are the single ones or about to be single, if you can't trust your man then perhaps he shouldnt be your man or anyones because he is not ready to commit.

Wowzers, read the Daily Mail much? Do you actually know anything about the industry, or are you basing your opinion on what you read in the papers?
