But do the men commenting on here have wives and children?

Yes, Happily married to trusing and non-nagging (well not much!) wife for 20+ years and 2 kids.

Each to their own huh! ;) Which is really what this all boils down to, whats good for one its always good for the other, as you say we have to find a partner who see's things a similar way to us, and what you may seem as "nagging" might not be in anothers eyes. And works both ways, men can "nag" too.

    How awful.

Might be a 'bit of fun' for some men but not so much a 'bit of fun' for those poor girls.

I agree 100% with WONGSTACK and if my "wife and mother of my children" did not want me to have a "bit of fun" then she would never have been my "wife and mother of my children".
She would be making someone else miserable.

This is the key point. That is what works for you and your marriage.

That doesn't mean it will work for everyone, as others have already said.

Either the OP and her hubby need to be in agreement on this one, find a compromise they are both happy with, or consider splitting. Otherwise, I fear that this will be argument which is repeated periodically, and escalates each time, with the hubby feeling nagged, and the wife feeling unloved and unappreciated. It'll end in a split anyway, unless they can reach an agreement they are both happy with.

I was just going to post that link.

So, to the men here who say it's *just a bit of fun*, is it just a bit of fun to be using girls who have been trafficked? Because that's what the likelyhood is.

And the more men that go over there to have their stag weekends, the more poor girls are going to be trafficked. Bt that's ok, cos it's just a bit of fun.

To be fair, I think there are also a fair number of girls who are doing that work of their own free will, but............and it's a big but, how would you ever know which one was which?

It isn't a risk I'd like to take. If you could guarantee that all girls working in that industry were happy, safe and doing it of their own free will (in whatever country), then I would have less of a problem with it in general. And believe me, the Netherlands has tried to regulate it, but there will always be scum who are prepared to kipnap girls, force them against their will and undercut the legitimate workers.

The attitude of the guy they interviewed (briefly), at the end of the article, was truly shocking. His attitude is actually very upsetting.

I'm sorry but I thought this thread was about strippers, not prostitutes which is what the article is about.

It's about a stag do in Eastern Europe. The link I posted (and I wasn't the first person to post it) is also about stag do's in Eastern Europe and how girls are being trafficked to cater for the men on these trips. So it is relevent.

It is about stag weekends, I'll give you that (Amsterdam, mentioned in the article, however, is not in Eastern Europe), but the article is specifically referring to men who use prostitutes on such weekends. Every single point raised about sex trafficking in that article is with regards to sexual exploitation in the form of forced prostitution which is fuelled, in part, by members of stag parties visiting prostitutes. (I'm sure it has nothing to do with locals, favourable laws, useless or corrupt police, useless or corrupt politicians or other tourists visiting specifically for that purpose at all...)

This thread was about strippers and only strippers - maybe the slightly more explicit side of stripping - but there was no indication that prostitutes would be sought or used, nor has anybody, male or female, at any point during the 170+ replies advocated or condoned the use of prostitutes and nobody has advocated or condoned sexual exploitation.

Your link is only relevent if you can provide any evidence that any of the men who regard stripping as a bit of fun also use the services of prostitutes and have the same attitude to that.
