Morning All,
Very tired here this morning, work is exhausting me. But its the last day of my working week, just as well, as I am frazzled trying to juggle things! I have a busy day today after work, its football training / Cubs night, and trying to eat quickly between is hard work. Tomorrow I am back at my volunteering job, I have missed it so much since I was ill last year. Then in the evening I am hoping to manage to go and answer the phones for Comic Relief, which should be good fun. Dinner is in the SC for the troops, but that might end up as tomorrrow's, we'll see.
BDF welcome to the thread, lovely to meet you.
Molly I am glad to hear the blood transfusion went ahead and you are feeling a bit better.
Tigerfeet hope the doc has some answers for DS
Hester hope work is OK today.
Congratulations also to Mioliere
Hope everyone has a good one today, hugs spoons and high fives all round.

Morning All :hello:,
Happy St. Patrick's Day.
Welcome Bedebtfree - you'll like it here I'm sure.
Congrats mioliere - saw the news on fb last night
Woken up at 5am by baby disco - really not impressed if this is bubba's idea of "training mummy for no sleep" once he's born... Starting to think that this one may be as strong willed as me and he's still got another 10 weeks cooking to do  However, if he pops out and he can tap dance like I used to be able to I'll be happy that he's used the time sensibly and learnt a new skill :rotfl:
Got home yesterday and started an inventory of all the baby related money off coupons I've got - adds up to a lot :money:being a bit of a list fan, I've now split them into categories, and am contemplating putting everything on one central spreadsheet I'm such a nerdMay spend some time later searching for the best deals I can get using my vouchers and quidco. I finished my handover yesterday, so I've nowt to do really for the next two weeks till I finish :j
Hugs to all xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,

Morning all
Hugs to everyone with redundancy worries, sick kiddies, poorlies and everyone who'd like one.
DD has left Tokyo as hubby practically pushed her into departures to come to the UK to be safe. He feels he can look after himself better if he is not worrying about her (have I put this right?) He is truly an amazing guy who loves her enough to send her to safety!
She arrives 3.15 today and will be in pieces. Please send loads of kind thoughts her way today.
We will be driving up to Heathrow to meet her but first will put lamb tagine in the slow cooker as it is a favourite of hers. It is difficult to get lamb in Japan.
Oh well......time to get out of bed and start the day.
Have a good day all.

Morning All,
Welcome BDF, you will love it here, everyone's lovely:D
BB good luck with the interview today. I watched great british food revival and think its very good, I then turned over and watched Masterchef, I'm Greg Wallaced out. Wouldn't kick John Torrode out of bed though:rotfl:
Will be off to facebook in a sec to see what we are congratulating Moliere for
Fell off the no bread wagon and paid the price last night with awful IBS which kept me awake until the early hours. So jumped back on today its my own fault:o
DS3 needs something red for school tomorrow will pop in TK Max today and get him one of the official t shirts and Sainsbugs is next door for a few bits, toothpaste is a must.
Dinner tonight will be Sweet Roasted roots with Haloumi, which is made with beetroot and butternut squash. I am hoping Halloumi is low GI, off to look it up.
Some really good recipes in the WW magazine(even though I am not doing WW) going to try the turkey kievs and hake with chickpeas, chorizo and roasted red peppers, also there is an almond and rhubarb cake whick is low fat but looks scrummy.
Going to have a positive day today. Felt a bit low yesterday which is why I ate stuff I shouldn't, stupid I know:(
Anyway upwards and onwards, have good Thursdays all J x

Morning all!
Congratulations Moliere! And hooray for Skype! xx
Sun is just breaking through here now, looks like another nice day - apologies to all those with snow! Gas delivery arrived yesterday, so we have plenty of hot water and heating - ds was horrified at how quickly we used up the last delivery, so he's turned into an energy monitor!
S&S kitchen when I got in from work last night and did DW and WM, so jobs saved this morning! Need to have a hoover around, moulting animals are creating a hairy carpet everywhere, ew! Made chocclare's chinese chicken and bunged it in the oven now, will throw in some broccoli to ensure the kids eat some green stuff and don't moan they're being starved of veg, and pop some rice on to cook, then they can dish up and reheat when they get in from school/college. I'm working till 7pm this evening, then meant to be out for dinner or cinema if we can find something to watch, followed by drinks (lime and soda for me, tho perhaps I should have guiness, my mil was recommended to drink a pint a day when pregnant lol), all depends whether I have any energy or not, was pooped when I got home last night and still not exactly bursting with energy this morning! Going to find my maternity vits and take one, think some iron might help, and certainly won't do me any harm for a couple of days!
Lunches: ham sarnies (lots of leftover gammon!), Easter lemon cupcakes (reduced to pennies at work, and the icing pics made me smile!), yoghurt, clems
Dinner: chocclare's chinese chicken followed by yoghurt/fruit
