my OH loves grilled pork chops, topped with a blob of apple sauce and stilton crumbled over the top. Flash it under the grill to melt the cheese & warm through the apple sauce. I can't comment as I'm veggie but he says it's lovely"Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it" Einstein 19510

Stilton & brocolli or stilton & celery with pasta - both scrummy.0

My reply is becoming bog standard because I have poultry but.....souflee!
Alternatively I'd try something I do with gorgonzola, crumbled over pasta with cubes of roasted pumpkin/squash and maybe some chestnuts and or crisp bacon.0 -
Stilton Rarebit is good, just replace the cheddar with stilton! Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Stilton, walnut and caramelised onion tart, make a pastry case (or more mini ones) and blind bake till done. Make some caramelised onions by gently cooking sliced onions in butter until soft and almost melty, add some demerara sugar and a splash of white wine vinegar and continue to cook until lightly coloured put in base of tart case sprinkle some walnut bits on and top with crumbled stilton. Finish off back in oven or under grill until stilton had gone oozy.0

Crumble it into a bit of cream and warm gently to melt the cheese, then add a squeeze of lemon juice. Yummy creamy sauce for steak, or any other meat you fancy!Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0

I would have thought that this would be an easy question to answer: replace for any cheese in any recipe you usually make. It doesn't have to be anything fancy or complicated. I just wish I had a bit of stilton round here: I've got three heads of broccoli crying to be used up.0

I had the 'problem' last night. I roasted some veg - aubergine, peppers, mushrooms, onions, courgettes and tomatoes - with some olive oil, garlic and olives. Just as that was starting to brown, I put some pasta on. Pasta done, drained it and mixed it in the roasting dish with the veg and mixed some chopped up stilton (and some manky left over cheddar) in and baked for another 5 minutes or so.
Served with watercress salad. Loverly and 'healthy'!0
