what can i make with stilton??

don't know if this is any good but when i followed slimming world plan (before bump arrived lol) we were told about a recipe for dips
its just a case of buying quark (skimmed milk soft cheese) but i suppose if calories arent an issue you could use a full fat soft cheese (tescos do a good one for about 35p).
crumble some strong cheese into the soft cheese and stir, cover and leave overnight in the fridge.
the next day you should have a dip/spread which is flavoured with the stilton
i hate smelly cheeses :eek: so i havent tried but a lot of the group members swore by it

How about stir frying some pork and onions and adding the soup and some extra stilton broccoli til sauce is thick - delicious with new potatoes and veggies.

Now I've been lucky enough to get an enormous wedge of Stilton reduced from Mr. T's - what can I do with it, apart from eat it with biscuits!

Thanks for this thread, I just go a big block of stilton reduced at Mr T's too! The brocolli and stilton soup sounds delicious, and I was going to experiment to try to copy a thick dressing I had on a burger in Wetherspoons a few weeks ago.0

Hehehehe I'm another one who has just got a freezer-load of stilton thanks to Mr T - 2.4kg for £2.16!!!!! I've split it into 100g blocks and put it into the freezer ready to try some of these scrummy recipes!0

i seriously overestimated the amount of stilton that would be consumed over xmas and we dont eat it much. i have about 3/4 of one of those half-round things...:eek:
any ideas for recipes to use it up, preferably that i can feeze as i dont fancy stilton for breakfast lunch and dinner!!:rolleyes:

broccoli and stilton quiche
pear stuffed with stilton for pudding- drizzle with honey and warm in oven
salad with leaves, walnuts and stilton crumbled
mix with mayo to make a blue cheese dip
mix with cranberry sauce and grapes, fill a warm baguette, lunch is ready.Loving the sunny days!0
