I am getting reports that CISSL is being investigated and their bank accounts have been frozen. CISSL employees have not been paid and that some are walking out.
Although this is bad news for many of those employees, there is also a feeling that something is finally being done, that action has been taken.I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0 -

Who are you getting your reports from/ what do they say? I know a few people who are still there and im wanting to warm them!!0 -
Suffice it to say, there are several. A few still at SAS/CISSL etc but there are more who have left (but still have contacts) and a few others who are significant in the actions against these unpleasant companies.
I have crossed-checked the reports from these contacts and they are all correct.
Perhaps if SAS/CISSL had not been such a rotten company, they would have distilled a better sense of loyalty into their staff. As it is, most seem only to keen to reveal the dirt on these operations.
Sad but true.....I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0 -
Just had an email from my Mum:
She managed to contact someone at Homeguard yesterday who said that they have all the info on their computer that she had cancelled and that they would raise a cheque and put it in the post.
To quote "Watch this space – I shall believe it when the money is back in my bank!!"0 -
Less than a year ago my parents paid £5000 for a monitored alarm (for 10 years!). Received a letter as above saying they were closing and passing over to UK Monitoring & Response Solutions who have since written and asked for £99 'connection fee'. Trying to find out if there's any link between the companies.0

I signed up for a 10 year contract in November and paid with credit card. Consumer Direct tell me I should be able to claim refund from credit card company even although another company is taking over as contract was with SAS. Cannot find UK Monitoring & Response through Google and so will go for this (already had hands burned on this one!). Does not help people who paid by cheque or took out payment plan though........0
