We live in a rural area, where more then seventy per cent of the roads are single track country lanes. Many go up and down several hills. What annoys me is that people will argue untill they're blue in the face, that downhill has the priority, when the highway code says the opposite. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0

It looks like a " Big " and " Lil " thing to me, best ignore him before he really starts to insult you.
Oh wait, he already has.So you bend the rules when it suits you, but when anybody else does it, you post a rant on a forum about it.:rotfl:I don't come on here and post rants about others.:)0 -

if you park blocking your drive and then 15mins later the person across the road parks blocking their drive and the road who has right of way? is this illegal? I cant believe this person made me move when I parked there first.0

This isn't a question of who's right or wrong.....
If your approaching an obstruction on your of the carriageway, the oncoming vehicles have right of way..... Simple.
What i'd like to know, is why so many people genuinely believe the opposite to be true?
?
Absolutely agree.
It is one of the major annoyances of driving.
Not only do they do this but they then have the nerve to look at you as if you have two heads, you are the oddball for daring to drive competently.
I really would advocate a massive crack down on numpty drivers, those who have no idea how to drive in the proper manner, and who must have bought their licence off some dodgy individual.
Our roads are crammed as it is, just get these pillocks off the road, and those like them, like the ones who have no idea what an indicator is for, and just ban them for 10 yrs, first offence, 20, 2nd etc.0 -

I'm sure you're the member who always bangs on about taxi drivers.
Like when you said it annoys you when they just stop, even on double yellows, without realising they actually have the right to do so.
Are you that member?0 -

If you both stood your ground the Police could have both vehicles removed regardless of who was there first.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0
