Ok, so to update, a bit of headway has been made :)
Had a proper talk - finally - and although we don't quite see eye to eye still at least we cleared the air and I think he's now got some food for thought and won't be making the same mistake in a hurry. Neither will I though on the other hand! Since then he's been more helpful and even SUGGESTED WE GET A CLEANER!!!!! I won't be doing that as I think it'd feel abit weird, especially as I'd be in the house when she came, but it was just lovely that the thought was there. We also had a talk about some work issues that have been bothering him and it does seem that there's more to his moods then meets the eye. Him opening up a bit has made me realise that he needs my support as much as I need his <3

Oh, you should get over the weird feeling of hiring a cleaner! I have a couple of mates who have started using the services of a cleaner and they can't rate it highly enough. It's a bit strange at first, having a stranger in your house, but if they're cleaning the kitchen and you're paying them for it, then it's not really any different to having a hairdresser or manicurist visit you at home to provide you with a service.

Good to hear that you're speaking again and are sorting things out! :T

It seems I spoke too soon. He left himself logged in on facebook today - he's normally very secretive with things like that and it would appear with good reason :( it seems he's been desperately trying to arrange a 'stripper boat' for a distant friends stang do, despite the fact that no one else wants too and the grooms choice is sea fishing lol. The 'banter' that I saw on there was disgusting. I confronted him and he responded by leaving me with the kids and going out and getting drunk. He's now comotose on the sofa. Am nearing my limit.

Well.. you shouldn't have been looking and strippers are what they have at a stag to.. so I don't see the issue... how is that anything concerning you? Other than he is displaying a little depravity which is normal amongst a large proportion of males to a lesser or greater degree. Had he been slating you to various people I could understand your anger but the fact it wasn't about you in any way shape or form I can't see how it is worth such upset for either of you.

just go to bed and ignore him and deal with the hangover tomorrow.. ;)

if you no longer want to be with him the decision to leave can only come from you.. you don't need anyones permission or understanding just do whatever you want you are the one that has to live with the consequences.. good or bad..

he does sound like a total foo-quit though.. I'd pack his bags while he is laid their stinking drive it to his mothers/friends/tip and kick him out when he comes to.

  • I have a sulky husband, before it was over little things, and still is. I have been miserable the whole time, tried the whole ignoring him thing, but it hurts the way he treats me.

Does he get angry with you? Or is it just sulks? I think it's such an ugly trait, and just as a warning my hubby has got worse, to the point I cant say we are in a marriage anymore.

He's being very childish. This is the kind of thing kids would do, not grown men!
