Thanks for that, is that 3 weeks from the original application or from posting back the credit agreement?

They seem very slow in sending out the paperwork. I applied couple of weeks back, got the email to say i had been approved and received nothing since.
Seems a cracking deal though with 0% for 15mths.

I did have the Tesco 0% card, however the 0% has just run out. I contacted them to pay off the full balance and ask them if they could arrange another 0% card for me. Tesco said they couldn't do that and i would have to stick with my APR rate. I was tempted just to close it and reapply in a few mths again but then this M&S offer came up. So now i've reduced down the credit limit on my Tesco card and just use it as clubcard for my shopping points.
  • Finally received card today - it took about 2 1/2 weeks - credit limit is a very pleasing £5500 - quite surprised as I already have quite a bit outstanding on other cards (stoozing) so happy days all round.

    I closed my M&S credit card 9mths ago, can I re-apply and get 0% ?
£3k would be just enough to part pay for a new car

No. Not if you have been a card holder in last 12 months.

Just checked and I applied on March 2nd so actually nearer to 3 weeks - I received an acceptance email within 24 hours and my pin number 3 or 4 days ago. As I've stated before I did close an old M&S card 3 or 4 years ago because that had a pretty low limit (£1200?) so this new limit is pretty unexpected - have to control myself now as most of my 'stoozing' has been balance transfer based where I just do it and then 'forget' I've got the card where as 15 months interest free could easily tempt me to overspend (thank God I didn't get a joint card for the wife...). The paperwork with the card also does seem to say that m&s currency purchases are treated as a normal purchase (ie is 15 month interest free cash!) which is quite handy for this year's holiday spending.

Just applied for mine, fingers crossed I get accepted! Need it to pay off my insurance in full instead of paying off monthly at silly rates!"

I applied on March 4, got confirmation email on March 5, got the paperwork to sign and return on Mar 10, got pin number on Mar 18, still no card yet...

Its a longer process than other cards I guess but I assume it is popular because the 0% is so good.

I don't know what my limit is yet but it doesn't really matter to me- just needed a credit card with 0% on purchases as I use credit card for work and don't always get my expenses back within a month- did have the Tesco clubcard one but that has now run out...
