Well I've applied but no paperwork yet and no idea of limit - applied partly for the 15 months interest free and partly to replace an egg money card in case Barclays !!!! it up....0

I applied and got this email reply :-
Welcome to the exciting world of the M&S Credit Card. It's the only card to be
seen with and the only credit card that gives you a bit more M&S. We are
pleased to confirm that you are just a couple of steps away from receiving your
 stylish, new black card.
Your agreement will be sent in the next few days. Please check your agreement,
sign, date and return the green copy in the pre-paid envelope provided. the
yellow copy should be kept for your own reference.
Apparently limit will be advised on issue of the card.0

            Interesting Dato.
Out of interest, when did you apply and when did you get the email?
I applied yesterday afternoon and got a slightly different email this morning (saying a decision might take a couple of days - guess they might be checking bank history etc.).Temrael
Don't use a long word when a diminutive one will suffice.0

I've had my M&S credit card 3 years, so this may not be applicable now, but with M&S I got the lowest limit of any of the cards I've ever had (even lower than my first card - Barclaycard Initial), and there's been about 8 cards in the last 5 years.
But, it's also the only card I've kept open at the end of the intro period, because I really like the M&S vouchers - free lunch from M&S once per month! You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0

I would also be very interested to know what kind of limit M&S may give.
I applied yesterday and have so far just had the same email as datostar has had.
I hoping to use it for a purchace of around £2k. (I already have the money saved up but would like to leave it where it is for the 15 months).
Does anyone know if Im likely to get this ? (no debt & squeeky clean credit history by the way)0

My boyfriend got one today, £3.5k limit. He was very shocked!
Edit - Although looking at the documentation, it's only 10 months interest free...0

Received paperwork today - all looks ok but no credit limit until card arrives - I also had an old m&s card (cancelled 3 or 4 years ago) which was pretty stingy limit wise so fingers crossed this is a bit more generous so that I can use it as my main card (and m&s can then buy me dinner once a month too...).0

Just applied -£20,000 limit would do nicely to make use of this for 15 months.0

I'm tempted to apply but my available credit to salary limit is very high, even though my overall debt to salary is less than 15%.
Would look to close a couple of other cards down but that will take time on my credit record to show, so the offer may disappear.
15 months would be nice and I would only look at getting a £2k limit or so as I don't really need anymore.0
