I rang them and they said it could take up to two weeks to send an agreement. TWO WEEKS?!
Took about 7-8 days for my Wife to get agreement and then another 9-10 days to receive card and PIN!

If you read this thread you will see numerous people including myself saying it took a long time between applying and receiving the card.
It took me just over a month. I would say if it takes two weeks for your agreement to arrived, then you are looking between 5-6 weeks from applying for the card.
It is I believe still the longest 0% purchases deal around, so I would imagine, that there has been a very large amount of people applying for a card.
Nearly 15 months at 0% free, is worth the wait IMO.0 -
Received my credit agreement on Saturday - I called them last week to find out what was happening - approx 3 weeks from applying to receiving the credit agreement. I think that the overwhelming demand has tested HSBC's systems and capacity for dealing with the work. My season ticket expires in a month, so hopeful of receiving the card by then....0

I got a £2,000 limit but phoned up and it got increased to £3,000. Application process was pretty fast to be honest.0

I've applied for this card and been accepted. The thing that worries me now is that I had card from M&S before about 4 years ago and only got a £2000 limit (I normally get around 7000-10000 limit from most other cards).
£2000 will not last me anywhere near 15 months, wouldn't even pay for one of my holidays.
Guess i'm gonna have to keep nagging them for a limit increase if I do get a low limit again.0 -
Jeez. Just got my card and it's only £1500 credit limit. M&S are pretty tight with their limits. Might have to look around for another card in a few months if they don't increase this one.

They told me they would increase the limit after 3-4 months of regular payments on the card.I came, I saw, I saved.

May I seek clarification? My OH applied for the card and has sent back the paperwork. Unfortunately he spilt coffee over the paperwork and rendered it very difficult to read. I checked online but can't seem to ind the info I need. I want to check that the 0% is on purchases made at any point in the 15 months. Is that correct? It's just that my MBNA offers would be any spending up to June 2011 would be interest free until March 2012. Any spending after June 2011 would incur interest though. Does that make sense I'm confusing myself?0

I have the M&S card. Any purchases within 15 months are at 0% for 15 months from account opening. We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.
We belong to the Earth0
